Great location for anyone boarding Hurtigruten/Havila or any ship at Jektevik terminal Delicious breakfast with good variety Kind staff that accommodated our needs (had a traveller with limited mobility)
The room interiors are a bit dated, but nothing actually bad and it was still great value. The double bed made out of two singles had a tendency to "split". "OK" bed, but nothing more.

large & well-stocked breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Picked hotel for its location ie near cruise terminal, but it was pretty centrally located too. Taxi ordering terminal in lounge very useful.
Not very personal hotel, too big for that and split over three blocks, but entirely sufficient for purpose.

Breakfast was good with a nice variety daily.
One particular older male staff working the breakfast and the woman who checked me in was incredibly rude and did not give me any information about WiFi or breakfast. I waited in the lobby for two hours for my room to be ready and she watched me sit there without letting me know my room was ready. When I approached to inquire about a timeframe, she acted as if she forgot who I was. It was strange that the restaurant was only open during breakfast.

The food was good Great conference venue Shout out to Suzanne on reception who helped me with a payment for a horse ride locally - very grateful.
We had rooms across the road - on floor 6 - lift was not working when we arrived and we had a big, heavy suitcase to drag up the last flight of stairs. No offer of help. No tea/coffee making facilities and fridge not on/not working Room and corridors decor was very tired and has seen a lot of use/abuse. Grubby carpets. The main hotel seemed much nicer

Our first room was very run down and gross. They switched us to a different room which was smaller- but at least it was clean. Our room keys did not work many times. It was a bother - we were on the 7th floor.

Great central location Warm with underfloor heating in bathroom which was a bonus to get our wet clothes dried. It rained most of our stay.
