The room when I eventually got one was fine
They had overbooked the hotel. When I arrived at 00:15, I was told the room I'd paid for had been given to someone else. The receptionist was full of apologies and said he'd arrange a taxi to another Scandic hotel. He did this and we were taken to Scandic Byparken in Bergen. After a delay at reception, again the receptionist was full of apologies, we got into a room at 00:50. We'd had a long day and all we wanted was to collapse into bed. Apparently, the system deliberately overbooks, so there is always a chance that the room you've paid for has gone. This is not acceptable. All we got was apologises, nothing else. A very bad experience. I would have given one star but the room itself was fine.

Awesome breakfast and good facilities. Probably the top breakfast provider I have encountered in all our travels.
A little bit far from the Metro. 10 mins and not ideal if it's raining as there is no shelter on the way

Great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds and pillows, close to the airport, direct connection to the city center via Bergen Light Rail (Bybanen) line 1, luggage storage available after checkout, possibility to refill your bottles with still or sparkling water from a tap. A very nice experience overall!

Appreciated the location and free parking. Breakfast was good. We were able to do laundry at the hotel. Staff was very friendly.
Room was too hot! I didn't sleep well. Dinner buffet was expensive. I've never liked the showers that leak water into the main part of the bathroom. It is a safety hazard!

It is close to the airport, a quarter of an hour away. The hotel is also close to the tram line to the airport.
A pleasant hotel with a rich breakfast and social games in the lobby for waiting.
Our room was on the ground floor and the smoking bench was right in front of our window. The bathroom could do with a renovation.

Walking distance to train/bus station. We caught no 1 train straight to the city.

Breakfast and buffet dinner were tasty with a good selection. Staff was also very gracious and helpful and I appreciated having free parking.
Room was hot and we needed to open the windows which resulted in some noise.
