Great location and view of harbour.
There’s a gap at top of curtains so light comes in across the top and is very bright at night. The magnifying mirror in bathroom wasn’t cleaned and covered in finger prints. Only toilet tissue in room no boxed tissue. Breakfast was extremely crowded for number of people and no place to sit.

The location of the hotel is great & centrally located and the hotel staff are very friendly. The breakfast was ok and the room was fresh and clean with large bathroom.
There is no facility in the room and the room temperature can not be adjusted, there is only a small fan to use if it gets too warm. There is no parking in the hotel and the nearest public parking is 2 blocks was (3-5min walk) and it is >350 NOK per 24hr. The hotel has agreement with a cheaper parking but it 4-5min (driving) away.
The elevator does not go to floor 8 and you have to take the stairs from floor 6th, but we were lucky we could change our room with a room is lower floors.

Disappointing
Clean room and good location.
We had a very strange small room on the 8th floor. There's no lift to the 8th floor, you have to get off at the 6th and go through a creepy service stairwell to get there. The room was much smaller than expected and the bathroom had a glass door which doesn't fit the frame by about 1cm, not much privacy and smelled faintly of sewage. The toilet lid was broken, and so was the TV. I don't know if we had chosen a cheaper room option and this is why we ended up with this type of room, but it certainly didn't feel like good value for the price.

The location. It was very central and close to the ferry terminal where we landed late at night
1. The quality of the hotel was very poor. The corridors are all painted in dark grey, the carpets are dark grey, our room was very small and dark grey 2: every time you took a shower in the bathroom, the bathroom floor was full of water because there was no effective shower screen.3. in our standard room which we unfortunately booked because nothing else was available, there was no seating whatsoever and no table other than a tiny little corner table which was hardly big enough for the kettle that was sitting on it 4. The breakfast was very cheap and very poor. Poor quality offering.5. On the way to the lift which we had to take up to our bedroom, we passed the “open kitchen“., And on the surface was sitting a large tray of raw meat waiting to be cooked. Most unappealing for the people passing by and it looked very unhygienic.5. we could not wait to check out of this hotel, it was awful. The hotel Common parts are in need of refurbishment, lots of chips on the paintwork..

Not much. The location was convenient as we were going to Bergen very early the next day.
We wanted a hotel in Bergen city center as that was our last night in Norway, we had a great time at our other 7 hotels but this one badly underwhelmed. The staff was terrible and not helpful when asked. The hotel parking was ridiculous. An awful hotel.

Wonderful
The room was small, but well designed and comfortable. Bed was very comfy and I slept so well. The shower was lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. Great location, right in the centre of town close to shops and very safe feeling.
My 'please don't clean my room' sign went missing and I was not able to get a new one :(

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location..it's right next to the waterfront, just a one-minute walk away, which was fantastic. The room was clean, the service was good, and the overall amenities were decent for the price, it was a comfortable stay and a good option if you're looking for a well-located hotel.
