The hotel location is perfect, in the center of the city. The reception staff is friendly.
One elevator for the whole building, you need to wait sometimes for a.long time to get down from your room, the stairs are closed, because they lead to the kitchen.
The entrance of the elevator is nearby the kitchen, so funny smells can be felt usually during the long waiting.
The drain pipe in the shower did not work in one of our rooms, we asked for helo, 2 times, but nothing happened during our 3 days long stay.
The breakfast room small for the number of rooms and peoples and the gluten-free corner nearly doesn't exist (very small, 2 options every day)

It was very close to the ferry port and central to Bergen which was ideal for us
The coffee and tea wasn't replenished daily, I had to keep asking for them at reception. Unfortunately the bar and dining room are closed on Sundays

The view was nice. You can watch the whole port from the room and super close to the fishmarket.

Main elevator was broken so everyone had to use the small service elevator in the back through the restaurant which was very inconvenient especially with luggage.

Hotel and rooms really clean. Great location, especially for shops, restaurants and harbour. Bed and pillows comfortable.
Had informed hotel we would be a late check-in due to flight arrival times. Had to wait half an hour for someone to come to reception.
The room (junior suite) was freezing. We were supplied with a portable heater which helped, however the fan/AC in the bathroom ran continuously with no controls to switch off. Got absolutely no sleep due to the noise of it running throughout the night. Also made showering really unpleasant as cold air was going continuously.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but I missed having a wardrobe and there was a lot of noise from the main street outside.
I also didn't like the central heating; at first, the room was very cold, but thankfully they provided us with two small heating devices. However, I would have expected a better climate control option.
I also didn't like the fact that the building only had two elevators, one of which was broken during our stay, so all the tenants had to use the other one.

At the first day we are arrived in the Hotel Magic Kloverhuset Harbour Hotel, we felt completely comfortable and welcomed. We had a problem with our Room and it get sourced out eminently. The Rezeptionist Ibrahim take care about it with such a respectful kind. We are thankfully noticed.
Next to all of the other friendly Stuff members we felt always comfortable in our Room.

Very Poor
I stayed at Magic Kloverhuset Harbour Front in Bergen from August 25 to 27, 2026. After checking out, I realized I had left my gold necklace and pendant behind. I emailed Vera, and she told me I could arrange a FedEx pickup to have the jewelry returned.
Now I have been told that the jewelry was lost during transportation. This does not match what I understood from our earlier emails, and I still need a clear explanation of whether FedEx collected it and where it was last seen.
The hotel has apologized and offered reimbursement, but this has been a very upsetting experience. I am waiting for the matter to be resolved.
