I was only here very briefly, but I felt this hotel met my expectations. The place was comfy, quiet enough for being in central Bergen, and the breakfast selection was overall decent. The view over the harbour was a highlight, given how lovely Bergen is.
Communication with the hotel felt a bit haphazard. I had tried to get in touch with them to request a change to the room I booked, and it took them a long time to get back to me. We had a bit of a hassle with incorrectly coded key-cards. I personally found the decor garish, but I respect that they're going for a particular aesthetic. These are all minor gripes in grand scheme of things though.

This hotel is in a perfect location and I walked everywhere from here. My room was a great size. Some are quite small
The room was quite dark but this is not a slow stopper because I want in the room much.

Fantastic location, nice staff, great buffet breakfast.
Supermarket beside the hotel the was open 7am - 11pm.
5 mins walk to light rail from airport (cheaper and nearly as fast as the bus that the stop is pretty much across from the hotel).
As others have said, a little street noise but was OK. Don't let that put you off, woukd gladly stay again.

Location in the center of the city & breakfast.
The room had no window to the outside, but only to an interior part of the building where there was a terrace.
The interior space was very small. Since we had two pieces of luggage, there was very little room to move around.
There was no small refrigerator in the room, either.
Thinking about other European countries, I see that there is an imbalance between the price charged and the conditions offered.

Brilliant location, good breakfast, clean and tidy.
Not a fault of the hotel but I was kept awake until 3.30am with noisy groups of people outside.

Excellent location in the city centre. Very close to all historical sites . Good and substantial breakfast. Kind and friendly staff.

The hotel was closed. We were transferred to another hotel without our consent, and the hotel sent us a simple message in Norwegian via Booking.com, then sent a welcome message. Very poor communication and experience.

After having the hotel booked for months and paid for, we got out of the Uber in the snow and it was closed and locked up!
Thank goodness for a very lovely lady who was around, who kindly walked us to one of their other hotels where they were very accommodating and apologetic! Apparently, it is not uncommon - the owners decide last minute, close up, and go on holiday without advising (or refunding) their guests!!

The hotel relocates me to another hotel without my consent because of their low occupancy. My booking was confirmed and nonrefundable, so I can’t cancel this booking, and of course wouldn’t accept that rubbish relocation hotel (a Google 2-star hotel). I tried to contact the hotel, and they ghosted me for 2 weeks, not a single word reply from them. I tried to contact Booking, and they postponed everytime, asking me to call back on the check-in date, the checkin time. And even after the checkin time, they asked me to wait another 30 minutes, for which waited with nowhere to go with my luggages. Not to mention the 20-minute queuing time and the circling AI agent…Totally spoiled the trip. AVOID this hotel as they have no credit at all. Being irresponsible as a hotel is so unacceptable. Just avoid it to avoid making your trip miserable!!
