Excellent location in the town center, walking distance to everywhere- harbour, Bryggen, train station, lots of restaurants. Good size of room and it was very clean.
My room was on the roof, it was extremely hot on sunny days. The aircondition didn't really do much, it was nearly impossible to sleep there after the sunny days.

The location in the city center was perfect. A short walk to the harbor and the historic buildings. Breakfast was very good with a good variety of of food.
Access into the hotel is difficult with luggage. Lighting in the room is very dim. It is quite a maze to get to a room. Room 231 has 5 steps to go down to enter the room. Also not a good situation with luggage.

275 USD for a teeny tiny room with no air conditioning and no ability to open a window. Felt trapped in a hot box. Was sweating and could not breathe all night. Spoke with the front desk and they offered to bring a fan. They brought a HOT AIR HAIR DRYER. Terrible stay, not worth the price. Do NOT recommend.

This peculiar hotel merges together several old buildings close to the old Port.
Noisy and far below expectations! The bar downstairs closes at 3am while deliveries start shortly later. From our room, we spent all the night listening to customers laughing and drinking and the truck motor roaring. Finally the coffee machine was out of order in the morning...

Perfect location in the heart of the city, kind and helpful staff
Small rooms, an inadequate ventilation system makes them incredibly warm in the summer, even on cloudy days. No wardrobe, old furniture, windows are on the internal hall and cannot be open. This may be acceptable for a 3 star or lower, not even close to what I a consider a minimum standard for a 4 star as expensive as this hotel.
