Hotel was nice.
We paid for dinner, but due to a strike with hospitality staff at the time, there was no dinner offered.
More importantly NO refund was offered for the lack of evening meals!

Comfortable with a nice view of the hills with the colourful houses. Nice shower. Gym small but did the job. Walkable. Half board made it really good value
Included dinner buffet was disappointing in taste and quality. Breakfast spread however was really good

They also offered dinner included in the stay which was delicious. We were leaving too early to enjoy the breakfast, but they accommodated us with to go breakfast bags, so very kind. Clean room and fit for the 1 evening we were in Bergen before our flight home.
The listing was misleading. It stated free parking and that was not the case. Not a huge deal but that should be taken off for future bookings. There is street or garage parking nearby.

Problems with getting safe gluten free food for breakfast. Poor selection/unavailable unless requested then had to wait, Worst in Norway in that respect. Staff didn’t keep up with coffee machine needs; unusually long waits for coffee at breakfast. Disrepair with tub drain plug. Sink drain plug didn’t hold water.

Close to the centre of Bergen. Train station just 15 minutes away. Room was good size and quiet.

Great location with a view over the harbour from our room. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast and nice afternoon tea provided in the guest lounge each day.
Originally included breakfast and dinner in our booking, but dinner was removed due to Hospitality Workers Strike in Norway. The credit for not including dinner was only $60 AUD for two people which in no way represented the price of a meal in Norway.
The elevator was also broken for 2 of the 3 days of our stay and we were on the 4th floor so this was exhausting climbing the stairs each time.

The room was very generous in size and really well set up. it was very quiet in the room and room temperatures were good. The location is absolutely central in the Bryggen area of Bergen. Breakfast was included in the package and it was a good, generous buffet style. We were able to store two cases in the luggage room for 10 days till we returned for one more night, at no extra cost.
There was a Hotel strike in Bergen while we were there, and this meant that the dinners included in our package were not provided - no discount was offered to reflect this lack. While we were there the lift to the second part of the building was not working and this meant lugging heavy suitcases up three flights. The front desk person helped, but this was pretty poor.

Location was outstanding -- easy walking distance to everywhere , even to the Havila dock when demonstrations made taxis impractical.
A strike meant that dinner (included in the booking) was no longer available. Hotel staff would make no compensation for this loss. Given Norwegian prices, this was a significant kick to our budget.

Hospitality and staff were wonderful. The hotel is beautiful inside. There are many comfortable places to sit, coffee and water available. Wonderful breakfast with a variety of foods for everyone's needs.
We were on the Bryggen side on a Saturday night in May. The noise from the street was very loud until early in the morning.
