Had stayed here before and liked it. No frills hotel but clean, comfortable, very friendly staff and a great location. Very good lounge area. Good room size. No breakfast this time as we had to leave in the early hours of the morning
It is Norway so it is not cheap but relatively, it is good value for Bergen. Nothing else negative to report

The location is great! Walkable to so many places without being directly in the hustle and bustle of the busiest tourist spots. I also loved how eco friendly they were.

Lower security lock did not work and when I asked about it received a very dismissive answer that it wasn’t needed anyway. Otherwise a great stay.

Wonderful
It is close to the center of Bergen so walking is possible, yet it’s in a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast, included, is wonderful, with many options. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

The location is close enough to the center of Bergen to walk, but far enough away to be quiet. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast included is a great way to start the day. Beverages (wine, beer, coffee, tea. soda) and snack are available for purchases in the lobby bar. There are many comfortable places to gather and unwind or celebrate at the end of the day. Windows can be opened for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water.

Location, staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was superb.
The room was tiny and extremely spartan, towels were absolutely terrible. For the price I was definitely surprised. I did expect a far superior experience, but Bergens hotel prices are astronomical anyway and The Comfort hotel was the most reasonable. So to wrap it up , I would recommend it, but be prepared for a tiny plain room.
