Wonderful
If you get the front facing rooms, the view of the castle ruins are beautiful! The location is perfect as it is in the city center yet just outside the bustling restaurants and bars to avoid noise.
Keep in mind there is no elevator, and the stairs are typical dutch steep turning ones, not suitable for older people or people traveling with heavy luggage. Very small rooms!

The hotel is located right before the gate into the city centre. Lots of bars and restaurants close by.
The room was clean and nicely decorated.
Awesome breakfast with a lot of different foods like eggs, bread, fruit, croissants, scones, pancakes, juice, etc.
Unfortunately no free parking in front of the hotel, but they can arrange a paid parking spot not too far away.

Additionally, the sliding door separating the toilet and shower offered very little privacy.

Lovely place, right by the castle in the centre.
Friendly helpful staff. Free tea and coffee in reception.
2 flights of steep, curved stairs to the room.
No kettle in the room, guessing it’s why you can get drinks downstairs.

The breakfast provided from the hotel is like a platter, combination of cheese, spreads and fruits. The bread provided has a lot of variety. Overall, value for money and saves us the hassle in looking for a breakfast joint. it's a healthy breakfast. The room is clean and has a view overlooking some of the hills.
The stairs heading up is rather narrow and there's no elevators, so travellers with big suitcases will have to take note. We were given a room at the top floor, the ceiling is a tad bit low. The air conditioning unit does come with the heating function for winter or colder days; just have to wait for awhile for it to acclimate.

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. One lady provided pads for our daughter late at night. The breakfast is delicious is gorgeous.
The noise from other rooms and the lack of thermal isolation. The wind came through the border of the windows, freezing the room.

Bedrooms were lovely. The beds were huge and very comfortable. Felt the reception area was so cosy. Was like being at home with sofas and large dining table. Games available and free coffee and teas. Breakfast was trayed up for you with an additional choice to add on.
Maybe a lift as my elderly mum struggles with stairs but looked like there were a few rooms ground level naybe should have requested.

The location is fantastic as its right in the town and very close to everything. The staff were great and the two lady's that did the breakfast made our daughters 10th birthday. The free hot drinks is a fabulous touch. The family room was nice and big and great for a family of four..
