The Dormio Wine Hotel Valkenburg is a high-profile hotel fully dedicated to the world of wine. Great location just across the street from the station. Very easy, short walk to get to the city centre.
Bathroom doors are made of see through glass, and sink out in the bedroom - not providing a lot of privacy. Perhaps not the best option when sharing the room with other people.

I booked a family room which was really beautiful and extremely comfortable with adjoining room. The coffee and tea making facilities were a nice touch and the location was brilliant (just across from the train station). The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
I paid extra for the breakfast which was a bit disappointing. By the time we arrived around 9.20 the eggs were cold and rubbery, the bacon was all gone (it took over 30 minutes before it was replenished by which time we had almost finished our breakfast). The rolls were over-baked and were too crunchy… So disappointing.

The hotel was lovely, the room spacious and the bed comfortable.
I paid for parking for the entire duration of my stay but once a week, without having been warned, when the restaurant was closed, there was no one around and no one to open the car park, so I had to find elsewhere to park at night. It was also outrageous that one day, as I left very early in the morning, the door to access the hotel lobby was locked. Eventually a cleaning lady came around but had no key, though she explained how to exit through the underground park. All of these things made me feel pretty unsafe. If there had been an emergency, there was no one at the hotel desk.

Was clean. Nice location.
The room wasn't heated. We were cold from being out all day and checked in late. Unfortunately, the room was freezing. We waited a long time for it to warm up. The heater was quite noisy, making it uncomfortable.

Room not ready at check in time, Stairs to manage with luggage, no assistance offered. Although close to Train Station a bit of a walk to centre of city and Xmas markets.

Lovely property - clean, tidy and very well presented. The restaurant offered a delicious meal on the evening and breakfast did not disappoint. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small walk to town and parking was easily sorted.

The room was not as clean as expected, the artificial plant in the room was dusty which made me question how clean it was but everything else was okay
