The Dormio Wine Hotel Valkenburg is a high-profile hotel fully dedicated to the world of wine. Cozy beds, good parking spot for free on the street, balcony was nice, friendly staff. Anna was amazing she was so friendly and arranged a free breakfast as a sorry for the loud room.
Our room was at the entrance door. The stairs and the door was nearby, so it was loud, when guests arrived we can hear them.

room and breakfast were good. Staff were efficient.
The hotel missed 'atmosphere'. The major decoration were plastic plants, the staff was not very friendly (more a kind of imposed politeness), everything seems very protocolled. The guest book opens with an article on liability ... The lights in the room were very limited, which was amplified by a black painted wall.

Nice hotel straight across from the train station. Few minutes walk into the centre. Has a bar downstairs. Ideal for visiting the Christmas Markes. We stayed on a Monday night just before Christmas. We found it good value for the money we spent. €150 for 2 rooms.
We checked the price for the Saturday and it was over €400 a room. Wouldn't be worth it at that price.
