The Dormio Wine Hotel Valkenburg is a high-profile hotel fully dedicated to the world of wine. Wonderful
The location was excellent, opposite the train station and just a short walk to Valkenberg. The breakfast was exceptional, beautiful warm bread and a large selection of hot food, cheeses, meats, fruit - all the things you expect and more. There was coffee and tea in the room, but no milk. I'm sure we could have asked for some.
The room was slightly cool (it was March and there was a small sprinkling of snow) and the heater made a lot of noise so we turned it off for sleeping. The double bed had 2 single duvets which was a bit odd and I kept getting tangled up or losing it altogether and getting chilly. The room safe wasn't working so we carried our passports and money with us.

The location is excellent. It is very convenient for anyone travelling by train or 'bus being immediately opposite the station. The hotel has a good restautaurent for lunch or dinner with an extensive wine list.
The housekeeping was a little careless. The bedrooms do not have a fully separated bathroom which lacks full privacy. We have stayed at the hotel before and found the breakfast very average and did not think it good value for money. Therefore we did not have breakfast in the hotel on this trip.
