Location excellent for exploring the town. Staff were most helpful, breakfast very good .
We had a junior suite on the second floor, room 22. The noise of other guests above during the evening and ALL night walking about in room 32 was extremely annoying , resulting in limited amount of sleep. Sound proofing on flooring not adequate maybe. The small bathroom had laminate flooring , in the shower area this was when wet very slippery , maybe requires some other anti slip surface treatment.

The location and the friendliness of the female evening staff member on duty. The location is ideal for the main street, which contains the majority of the bars and restaurants. It's a short walk to the castle remains, the caves tour, and a 10 minute walk from the railway station. The hotel room was very clean and the bathroom again very clean.
The room was very small, with little space to store belongings when unpacked. No wardrobe, just hangers above the suitcase shelf. The bathroom was again very small. The lift again very small with only a maximum of two people, and with large suitcases this can be quite a squeeze. On checking out the lift didn't work resulting in me having to carry my suitcase down a very steep staircase. During my stay the electrical power to my room went off. My travel companion told the lady on reception and she replied rather rudely "That's impossible", however she went to check and the circuit switch had tripped, proving it IS possible. No apology from the receptionist. Not a very nice lady to be honest. No staff to hand my door card to or to ask me was everything okay with my stay when I checked out.

Location excellent, right in the centre of Valkenburg. Beds, although single beds, they were very comfortable.
No air con & no fridge which would have made a big difference. Not sure how you’d get on in the middle of summer with the heat. The rooms are clean but not spotless and the balcony could do with some attention. However, this was our second stay due to the location.

Location was perfect, with everything on hand and close by. Very quiet area - perfect for sleeping. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Whilst on Business, I feel I now need to come back on vacation to truly experience Valkenburg.

Location was good. The breakfast area was nice as well. Good check in experience with staff
Unfortunately, I had a very awkward situation something I never experienced before. I left a personal item in the hotel. I contacted the hotel who said if they find it they would contact me. I was sure the item was there so contacted again 1 week later to get and updated. Reception lady ... Needs training... Said they found the item but could not explain why I hadn't been contacted. I asked if they could post it back, she said no because it was "too expensive" when I asked the price she had absolutely no idea and said she would need to check .. the whole conversation was awkward where at some stage I was wondering if the hotel would make any effort to help me get my belonging. In the end posting it was "very expensive "... 12e.
