The location was excellent and clean. Staff were really nice, respectful and friendly. Moreover you can park for 24 hr only for €15.
The noise isolation of the rooms were very bad, the whole night you can hear your neighbors’ noise, doors noise and even phone alarms! It was very annoying. mattress was not comfortable, so we couldn’t sleep well!

Fabulous warm welcome from staff who were friendly, helpful and for whom nothing was too much trouble. Such lovely people! Really comfy bed and airy, good sized room with Juliet balcony. The bar was brilliant and relaxed with a great selection of beers and local snacks served beneath a glorious panoply of foliage and crystal chandeliers. It’s essentially a lovely conservatory so you can people and parade watch in comfort. You’re within a few paces of shops, markets and tons of bars and restaurants. Parking is sensibly priced and easily accessible. We loved it and hope to return.

Excellent location right next to the castle ruins in Valkenburg, as well as a lively restaurant area, with ample public parking space in the front. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the room decent for our needs, clean and quiet with good quality WiFi.
The beds were quite uncomfortable, with an extremely soft mattress and pillows that caused a drowning sensation instead of a relaxing sleep. The room also seemed a bit old-fashioned, although everything was clean and proper. We were surprised to discover that there was only an espresso (coffee) machine in the room, with no ability to make tea -- a kettle would have been more appropriate. Also, no proper glasses, just plastic cups everywhere was a bit strange to see in a four-star hotel.

The hotel is ideally situated in Valkenburg a stone's throw from the center where there are a lot of restaurants. Check-in and check-out were seamless and well-handled.
When I enquired at breakfast if there was a bread toaster, the hotel manager snidely remarked that they do not have one in the breakfast area because "it would send smoke into the hotel and the hotel would have to be evacuated." Really? First time I heard that one.
