I liked everything
Is I can give a personal feedback will be to remove some of the more modern objects and decorations, add few plants reorganise the super beautiful objects around the hotel and I think it will give an extra charming look

Extremely comfortable, clean and cozy room.
Adequate spread for a good European breakfast.
Happy, helping and courteous English speaking staff - front desk, restaurant as well as house-keeping.
Elegant decor (Christmas time).
Extremely close/ 5mins walk to Valkenburg Railway Station.
Absence of complimentary tea/ coffee facilities, though electric kettle was provided on request.
Somewhat bigger shower space.
Slightly away from the central part of the town.

Close to the station with a cozy bar area. Comfortable beds and spacious room. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety of food. The staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed a sewing kit for a ripped coat.
The rooms could do with an update. The bathroom was quite old with a bit of a leak. We had a room next to the road, which you would hear.

We had two rooms, a triple and a budget double. The triple room was great, with a couch and good seating. The budget double was definitely a budget double. The decorations in the hotel were great, very Christmas, and breakfast was worth the extra charge in this case. (That has not been my experience in other hotels in Europe.)
The budget double was very small (tricky with two full-size suitcases), with a funky bathroom light. The only real complaint, for me, the beds were very hard.

Great staff. We came in pissed because all trains to Valkenburg had been cancelled so we had to spend 70€ on a taxi, but they were so kind that we couldn’t stay angry. We got upgraded a room as well.
They didn’t have anything listed on the app to show when check in time would be. Our train wasn’t supposed to get in til 21:30, and after scouring their website and booking.com, we assumed it would be OK since nothing indicated an early check in. However, It wasn’t until AFTER we paid that we found our check in was only from 15:00-18:00. I was and still am furious about how that was handled. We had to cancel plans in our prior city to get there in time for check in. Not to mention, rather than waiting for a later train, we had to waste an extra 70€ on a taxi to make sure we arrived in time.

Disappointing
The staffs are friendly and the bar is nice.
We chose this hotel because of the price and they have own parking, but that was bad idea. I will definitely chose a hotel in the center and park at the public parking next time. The room is extremely old and without airconditioning. If we open the window, bugs fly right into the room. The mattress is very soft and uncomfortable . We can hear everything from the hallway. And the WiFi is bad.

Reception is not available at late hours.
If you come later than 9pm you may be lucky to find a receptionist

Very Good
Very friendly staff. Family owned. Somewhat old but clean and nice. Very attractive dinner and relax area.
If it should be something it would be nice to have Aircon in the room.
