The room was clean and quiet. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was okay.
There were few parking spots available. The breakfast was supposed to be served at 7:30, but they opened the restaurant at 8:00, probably because it was a public holiday in the Netherlands. It should have been communicated in advance.

I checked in after walking for 8 hours in cold rain on the Pieterpad . There was no water boiler in the room and when I asked how I could boil water, I was told “ we don’t do that “ then I was asked, “ what do you want hot water for?” And I replied “ because I have been walking for 8 hours in freezing rain and I want to make tea !” THEN the young lady told me that she could sell me a cup of tea, and when I expressed disbelief, she proceeded to give me a cup of hot water, “ but just this and no more.” In 30 plus years of cycling and hiking all over Europe, this was the ONLY time I have never even had a common room where I could use a boiler . Even the cheapest camp sites have them . In addition, the lights in my bathroom didn’t work, the dinner was an awful frozen fish that was barely edible , and really, the worst thing of all was standing there soaking wet and freezing, my hands so cold that I couldn’t get the change out for the room tax, and then being asked “ why do you want hot water ?”

Our initial rooms smelled like someone had smoked in it. Luckily we were given a new room. But the overall quality of the rooms are quite poor. It seems like all the rooms were made from spare closets to maximise the number of rooms. Avoid if possible

Breakfast. Bed linens clean.
Bedroom - old, worn, tired. Sweat stains on wall where the bed was. squashed insects on tiles in bathroom. No plug for the bath. Old dirty carpet. No coffee/tea making facilities. Radiator Pipes make loud banging noise ALL through the night. Every night.

Good location and good breakfast.
The room was full of mold in the bathroom. The radiator was incredibly noisy and the room picture did not show any of it. I am quite disappointed also considering the price for the room.

Staff was very friendly
there is some really serieus refurbishment needed. Bathroom out of date and broken ceiling panels. Hardly any paint on window.
Breakfast was oke only fruit salad had seen beter times tasted a bit funny.

The location was great. The staff at breakfast superb. The breakfast also really good
Poor communication from the hotel. On arrival no one there only remote assistance. The keys were in a safe outside on the wall. It was a guessing game which room was mine. First impressions really matter. A lovely old building let down by really worn interior. Clearly a damp problem. Those things unfortunately linger long in the mind. Sorry to have to say that

Good breakfast and location and the staff were very helpful
It was a bit cold in the room. In the medication system for the bathroom didn't work. After a shower it was humid in the room. In the shower curtain wasn't so clean.
