Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful location - beautifully furnished. Breakfast was wonderful - everything you could need and more. The spa was also excellent - we went early and had the pool to ourselves

We loved the beautiful surroundings and the peaceful atmosphere of the property. The room service was excellent, and the pasta was absolutely delicious. The staff were also lovely and attentive.
While we really enjoyed our stay overall, we were quite disappointed with the Junior Suite. Considering this is a 5-star hotel and a suite, we expected the room to feel more spacious, luxurious and special. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Inability to use the restaurants because they were 'fully booked' . This was ridiculous. So food offer POOR. I was told we could use room service but only in our rooms which did not work for a party of six people. One does not expect to arrive at a Relais and Chateau hotel and not be able to have dinner. And the hotel is not located somewhere where one could walk to another restaurant. This was VERY BAD. We were contacted by the hotel before we arrived but this inability to get food at the hotel was not explained.

Super confortable with great restaurant nearby . We did a nice 2h walk in the area leaving from the castle. Beautiful garden with spectacular roses.
Swimming pool was rather noisy for us, with limited beds outside to relax.

Delightful restful location and very well presented and equipped country house style hotel. Excellent breakfast, very good lighter meals also enjoyed. Interesting cocktails!
The hotel has a popular high end restaurant which can become fully booked so advisable to reserve ahead. We did not do so however the hotel helped with exceptional suggestions for local alternatives.

Grounds were great, staff were friendly and the rooms are pretty spacious and well equipped.
Basically impossible to use the wellness centre during adults only time if you only stay one night
