Shower was good, but that was about it. Pleasant staff and free parking was a plus but hard to know how to get in and understand how it works.
Well, where do I start? The location as advertised close to the city centre is not true. 30 mins walk along some very busy roads with little to no path ways at points, or 10 mins walk to a number 15 tram that will take you 20 mins to get into the centre, or a 28 bus that will take 25 mins and you have to cross 10 lanes of traffic to do so. The room was very small for a family; bunk beds were rickety and uncomfortable with a thin mattress, and the double bed was no better. Thin mattresses, pillows that hold no shape, and no way to control the heating that was on permanently. That plus the 10 lanes of traffic just outside the window made for a noisy night with little sleep. The floor in the room was dirty with grit that you walked everywhere and got into the beds. Oh, and guests in another room had a full scale shouting match at 3am on one if the nights which was amazing....not. 100% would recommend staying anywhere else if you plan on visiting Den Haag or any of the surrounding areas!

The room and the view of the city.
They didn't let me try the "lucky spin" during my check-in, despite it is advertised everywhere in the hotel. It is located 30-45 minutes walking from the Hague city centre, but you can take bus next to the hotel and get there in 10 minutes. Little bit expensive, but the Netherlands are very expensive nowadays, and in The Hague it was one of the cheapest options I found for the days I spent there.

There was some construction around the hotel and sometimes it was noisy but the hotel itself was very good with excellent breakfast... free parking in Hague is a real privilege..

The view was beautiful. The space within the room was very nice especially with the large comfortable beds. The cleaning service was very professional, polite, and helpful.

The art surrounding and the views from the higher floors
I don't know if they changed management, it was our second time there and few things didn't feel like before. Also, there was a road accident with the only bridge that gets you directly into the hotel, so we took a 45 minutes beautiful walk under the rain looking for the next bridge, obviously this is not the hotel's fault but next time probably we will stay in a place closer to the centrum
