The Strandhotel is a small family hotel directly facing the beach. The cozy dining room with sea view is a wonderful way to start your day with a nice breakfast. Originally being a large villa, the hotel has preserved its attractive Victorian style entrance with fireplace. The antique sitting room is a charming place to read or relax after a long walk or a cycle trip. The Strandhotel offers comfortable and quiet rooms, some with a beautiful sea view. Location is great, just few meters from promenade & beach. Very nice and very helpful staff. Breakfast with sea view was perfect.

We stayed here with our 4 young children. Best experience ever. We were welcomed so warmly. Our room was ideal. Sea view, two toilets and very spacious. We loved that the hotel wasnt too big and it had such a friendly, classy atmosphere. There was a well stocked refreshment room which was open 24 hours. Gorgeous view from the breakfast tables looking straight out over the beach. The breakfast itself was also all we needed and more. Very friendly service. Our children could even watch us out the hotel room window as we did a refreshing morning dip in the winter sea. Would highly recommend and we would love to stay again.

Nice cosy rustic traditional reception, lobby and living room areas. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and helpful reception. Best view from restaurant hall with 24/7 available cafe and hot bev vending supply . Nice place best location next to parking.
Some intense noise that comes from people coming up this beautiful wooden stairway to upper floors . Perhaps a potential investment in sound proof doors would help?

Really Characterful charming and quirky hotel. Great staff, friendly and helpful. Terrific location on the beach. Close to trams and many excellent restaurants.
Lack of included parking was an unexpected expense and hassle.

It was adorable. Next time I'd like to stay 4 or 5 nights.
Wasn't there long enough to find anything didn't like. Except rain which couldn't get helped . Just needed more pillows so I could sit up to read. And open windows for air or have fan
