Really liked the style of the hotel and the rooms while keeping its heritage and adding quirks in the design. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to public transport and city life, yet very quiet and quaint.

Excellent location central to most attractions. Hotel is located in a cool historic building. Our room on the third floor had vaulted ceilings and was very spacious. Our room was right next to the elevator but was still fairly quiet. Comfortable bed
Nowhere to pull the car to unload bags. Parking is a few blocks away which isn’t unexpected in the city center

The style and the ambiance of the hotel are great, with attention to detail and matching the style of the original building. The room (and bed) was spacious, comfortable and clean and breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is located in the middle of the city-center so everything is within walking distance.
Minibar is stocked with some beverages that are free to use.
The room itself is not very sound proof and sounds from the hallway and outside are easy to hear. Fortunately for us it was both quiet on the streets and in the hotel at night.
While we were able to get a table for breakfast, some guests had to wait for a longer period before they could be seated.
When we almost finished our breakfast, we were presented a menu with breakfast options we could order as well, would have been nice if we had known that option existed earlier.

OUTSTANDING location! Great value! Beautiful room, the best shower, did I say great location!!??? It’s a renovated bank building and there’s an elevator which was grrrrrrreat after having stayed in historic buildings in Amsterdam with steep and plentiful staircases.
Nothing I didn’t like! Receptionist who welcomed us was outstanding, thereafter it seemed that all staff when we passed the reception avoided eye contact. Oh well - minor thing but I noticed.
