Nice modern modest hotel; excellent location in the museum quarter, close to the town centre. Breakfasts were quite good for a budget hotel.

Unfortunately we had to change our room after the first night because we didn´t get a twin bed right from the start as we had booked it. Furthermore there was an alarm activated in the early morning hours of May 22th. We had to leave our rooms at once for to gather immediately in the inner yard. Maybe someone had smoked in-room - the staff wasn´t sure about this and even the next day the staff kept silent about this incident. (When we could turn back to our rooms after a certain time waiting in the inner yard there was a very strong smell of burnt toast in the breakfast room...). Alltogether the staff wasn´t as kind as the other before we stayed in this hotel.

A pleasant hotel, with friendly staff, great facilities, and a great location. Striving for environmentally conscious operation.
For some reason we were given a room equipped for disabled people. We felt a little uncomfortable because of this. Despite this, there was no towel dryer available in the room. The shower tray was flush with the floor, which is understandable given the nature of the room. Despite the shower curtain, the bathroom floor was very wet after the shower. Considering that we took advantage of the hotel's offer when booking the room and waived cleaning for the duration of our stay in exchange for free drinks, even this was an inconvenience.
