Leonardo Hotel Den Haag Babylon is a 4-star hotel with most of its rooms overlooking the Haagsche Bos park, next to Den Haag Central Station. The hotel offers free WiFi throughout. The main shopping area of the city is an 8-minute walk from the hotel. Scheveningen and the beach are a 15-minute tram journey from Den Haag Central. Location next to The Hague Central Station is excellent, close to city center, Parliament, Ministries (walking distance). Breakfast is varied and good, staff is courteous and professional.
The rooms are in themselves acceptable and perhaps in need of a bit of upgrading

Very convenient location in relation to public transport and the running event we were attending.

I really enjoyed my stay at Leonardo: excellent location 3 minutes from the central station, spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed and furniture, beautiful design inspired by Dutch artists, very quiet. No waiting times for checkin or checkout.

Front of house staff working in reception when booking in were excellent. Professional, courteous, welcoming and friendly. A credit to the hotel and the brand. The room and hallways were clean and well maintained and there was very little noise from other guests, the street or the railway. The bed and room furnishings were comfortable and clean.
The bathroom sink in conjunction with the shelf above. Perfectly clean and modern, but a good example of style over function. The shelf above the sink overhangs the sink by at least halfway, and is not all that high above it. So, although washing hands under the mixer tap was not a problem, when trying to wash my face it was difficult to scoop water out of the sink or from under the tap, and bending forward to actually wash my face resulted in banging my head on the shelf on more than one occasion. Nice to look at it not as functional as it should be.
