Great position on the beach a few minutes walk from the beach reastaurants and the main sightseeing points, it’s possible to book breakfast in the room and enjoy the view litterally on the beach
We payed extra for a room with sea view, but we were arranged in a room where the roof of the building was obstructing the view, and we where charged 10€ for leaving the room just some minutes too late, which I found not really fair

An excellent hotel with cozy rooms, a beautiful interior, right on the seashore . Everything about this hotel is wonderful and perfect. I really liked the secret window hidden in the wall in the room, similar to an airplane window.
Attentive staff, cozy, safe, convenient location, creative details in the interior of the rooms, quiet and comfortable. I have booked rooms here several times and recommend it to everyone.

We have been to the Carlton Beach Hotel on many occasions. The location is great, the rooms are great, the views too! The restaurant has only been improved since the renovation that happened in 2025. Go for long walks on the beach or stroll along the many "strandtenten". Tip, go for "Buiten" nicely informal and even cosy on a rainy day. Want to enjoy the beach on a sunny day? Take your pick on the miles of beach. Want some peace and quite? Walk beyond the sailing club and towards beachclub Naturel, peaceful and quiet if you are lucky! And if you feel for it go for some skinny dipping! ;)
That it sometimes will rain in the Netherlands ;) But even then you will be well served as the tramline is only meters away at Zwarte Pad. So in cause of not so good weather explore The Hague and you will never be bored!
