We liked the balcony and shower.
The sink was so tiny. Water kept getting all over the floor. No iron and I lost my high end "Nars blush compact" in the room. I am pretty sure the housekeeper took it or threw it away. I left it on the bed and when we came back after housekeeper made our bed. It was gone. Sigh... The fitness and pool was not available. The hotel was under construction. Not having the gym available was very disappointing.

Good location close to the beach. Nice rooms.
Friendly staff at the reception.
Noisy works very early in the morning. Workers entering our room. No safe in room. No fridge in room.

Breakfast was truly amazing and the best thing but view onto a busy road junction not great at all no outdoor space .
Renovation work not apparent until after paid . Room the size of a cupboard very small and balcony sea view exaggerated balcony in useable no furniture and concrete . Breakfast room looked into a busy road junction no outdoor space . Staff very variable some didnt seem to know anything about the local area and told us so twice even to point of knowing where can eat when arrive late at night . Whilst others at breakfast were really great friendly and informative but big variation . I think its overdescribed reviews mention pool etc which is clearly closed down its on a busy road not really a sea front property as it claims to be so we paid a lot for a small room . Best thing was breakfast really good and breakfast staff

First we were told we had to wait for 15 minutes until the room was ready, but it ended up being more than 45 minutes. Next they advertise with a pool and it was not even accessable.

Its close to the beach but not close enough to be able to see the beach.
Why would you let guests stay while you are in the middle of a major refurbishment? Contractors in and out the (only) lifts carrying tools and equipment, scaffolding all around and in front of your windows.

I've stayed here each trip to Den Haag and have never been disappointed. The reception staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite good and the rooms are comfortable and have good AC for the warm summer heat. If you're lucky enough to have a beach view, you won't regret it. Location is steps away from the beach. Great hotel.
I have few to no complaints about the hotel. The breakfast is a bit pricey for what its worth and there aren't great food options in the immediate area, but this is being really picky. Overall a great place to stay.

Would have been nice if it was finished, but its still a building site
Its a building site, scaffolding at your window, noise all the time, builders knocking at your door, dirt from construction everywhere, the bathroom smelled of blocked drains.
The room was so small, the sink in the bathroom was tiny, no shelf to put your things on.
It didnt have any of the things that they listed, hairdryer, sage, desk
Breakfast was a disaster, no clean tables to sit at and no staff

Exceptional
The rooms were new and clean, no noise from outside even with the construction going on it was quiet. The hotel is very close from the beach.
