Location was excellent. The staff was excellent. The food for breakfast and in the restaurant were very good.
Lacked storage for suitcases like under the bed. Lighting in bathroom could have been brighter.

we were interested in being in the river near downtown and able to walk around to see the cool buildings that are a Rotterdam attraction. We loved loved the view from our room. THe bed was very comfortable and the pillows were too! The room had a little sitting area which was great and the bathroom, albeit small, was fine! The breakfast was delicious and well worth it. We walked the city and took trams. We also hopped the ferry to get to the bus to go to the Kuekenhof Gardens. The gardens are a tourist haven but it was fun in spite of lots of people! THe hotel was perfect for our one night stopover on the back to Amsterdam. The trams are also close!
We were happy with the THON HOTEL. I met our expectations...

Excellent location in city centre with nice view of the Erasmus bridge and river. Nearby metro station. 5 min walk. Staff was very helpfull.

The location was great with good views of the harbour and easy access to museums and amenities. Plenty of choice at breakfast.
The first room we were given was tiny and not at all what we were expecting, also only one bath towel and hand towel in room.. Pictures on website are misleading as they give impression that they are big spacious rooms. We had to pay to upgrade, but our secondroom was much better. The bar fridge in the room didn't work so everything was warm. No information in rooms about checking out, breakfast times etc.
