The location for our visit to Rotterdam was absolutely spot on and the beautiful scenery was definitely a bonus. Needing a quick family meal in the evening the downstairs restaurant worked a treat. The staff at the hotel all seemed very friendly and helpful.
We would have booked two rooms if there was a possibility to interconnect.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was good value inclusion in room rate. The hotel has a lift and is in a great location.
The rooms are small but ok for short stays or with little luggage.

Location is great no problem there.
Room was clean but smelt of drains. Either the air change wasn't strong enough or drains were blocked. No real reaction to the complaint apart from thank you for letting us know. Breakfast was boring - nothing unusual, same old same old. Overdone eggs, hotel sausages. Lots of stuff but all of a average to low quality. The breakfast room floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned from the day before(Food over the floor) and I was first in at 7am. The night before I was late arriving due to a Eurostar delay and the only food available was a packet of M&M's and some pringles. I would say this hotel is low 3* at best.

Shower glass needs to extended.. water goes everywhere if have water pressure too high

With an unusual 32 degrees C, we were very happy that this hotel has airconditioning. The view is absolutely stunning. An extra bonus is that the watertaxi stops right in front of the hotel, so we made regular use of it. The girls at the reception were very friendly and it's a great service that fresh water, coffee and tea are provided in the basement. The corner room has a good size and I loved the writingdesk in front of the window with this great view. You're in a city, so of course there are sounds, but nothing to keep us awake even though we were at the side where the tram goes. Along the waterfront are some lovely restaurants( check out 'Prachtig ' with it's great terrace and super friendly waiters ). I was born,but not raised in Rotterdam and I couldn't have picked a better hotel to reconnect with the lively vibes of this wonderful city.
The bathroom is not big, but clean and sufficient for a couple of nights' stay.
