Excellent hotel with a great atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed, including a kitchenette and a nice view.
A special thank you to Megan for helping with my booking. She sorted it out quickly, and I could stay in the same room.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Rotterdam!

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom
The price for the room. It was expensive for a plain looking interior and bathroom. Although it appeared that a lot of hotels in the area were rather on the high end this particular weekend (for no clear reason).

The only thing we didn’t like was that our room’s bathroom was designed for people with disabilities, which was not very convenient for us.

The cafe downstairs is nice. The wifi is good. There is a nightshop 20m away.
I am usually a big fan of the Social Hub brand, I have previously stayed in Amsterdam and Porto and loved it, but the one in Rotterdam is disappointing.
The room is very small, you could tell from the pictures, but it is smaller in real life.
There should be more space to work in the common areas.
The gym is a bit wornout, one of the machines was not working half the time.
When they cleaned the room, they didn't really clean it, they just replaced the towels.
This one is made more for students and less for tourista

They have everything. Free snacks, free laundry and gym. Also very near tram, accessible. Reception is amazing and welcoming.
It’s noisy. I can hear footsteps from ceiling. Door closing outside the room. I feel like walls are thin and rooms are not soundproof. Seriously, every sound i can hear. It was so hard to sleep. Elevators are so slow, takes ages just to go down and up.

The Social Hub Rotterdam was a wonderful surprise — a place that still proudly carries its roots as former student accommodation, and in the best possible way. Its youthful spirit and creative energy give the hotel a fun, welcoming atmosphere that makes it stand out from more traditional stays.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile or suggestion, which made the experience feel relaxed and personal. The self-service laundromat in the basement was an absolute godsend — practical, easy to use, and a small detail that makes long stays or extended travel so much easier.
The café on the ground floor served excellent coffee and offered great vegan options, making it the perfect spot to start the day or unwind after exploring the city. The hotel is also easily reachable by tram from Rotterdam Central Station, which made getting around effortless.
My room had an amazing view of the river and city, and while the amenities were simple, everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. For anyone travelling on a budget, it offers fantastic value without compromising on style or atmosphere.
The Social Hub manages to blend comfort, community, and creativity — a perfect choice for travellers who enjoy friendly faces, good coffee, and a touch of fun.

When we arrived around midnight reception was first empty with no chance to reach anyone. We waited for around 30min until someone showed up, we got the card to our room, but once we entered it turned out it was already occupied and someone was sleeping in there.. they were really confused about how to handle this and it took another hour until we had a different room.
