I enjoyed the ship tour. Those who took us around the ship and explained its history were both informative and engaging.
It needs updating, especially the carpets which are threadbare and ill-fitting.
Not sure what the load banging we would hear each morning between 6am & 8am from our room.

Loved the salute to Rotterdam's influence on cruising and was a great stay pre-cruise!
I thought it was ridiculous that a paying guest wasn't given a complimentary tour! Non guests I totally understand!

We loved stayingbon the SS Ritterdam its our hotel of choice when we stay in Rotterdam. We have stayed many times over the last & half two years. The staff are wonderful thectooms are impecably maintianed, a real time capsul. On a previous trip we did the full Ships tour which takes a good couple of hours. We met the ships cat
There is only one thing we dont like the very expensive car park costs over €20 a day it should be half that cost or free like staying in a Van der Valk Hotel / Hilton
