Location is great. The hotel is right in front of the train station. We arrived earlier than the official check in time but we were given a room. We highly appreciated it. At the reception, a receptionist told us about the special events taking place in the city, best place for dinner and direction to the attractions. She has written everything on the map she gave up. It was truly an amazing service. Breakfast was very good too.

Location is really good, right next to the station. Breakfast is good as well.
It was hot in the room at first, and after the staff helped to check, it was a bit better, but the temperature in the room was still not too comfortable. Also, I was aware that the sofa in the room had powerder on it that did not seem clean. In addition, the bedsheet had hair and dust that I had never experienced in any other Marriott. Although those issues were fixed after I reported them, I still feel disappointed with this experience during my stay.

Hotel was within walking distance of Rotterdam Central Train Station, room was nice, hotel was very clean, and staff were great.
Hotel was very warm. A/C couldn’t catch not keep up with heat. Even our room never really cooled off in 24 hours. There is huge construction project next door and that was our view.

I stayed at this hotel several days during business trip to Rotterdam in May/June 2026. The hotel is located in the center of the city, right in front of the Rotterdam Centraal Station, and therefore very easy to reach. My room was on the 12th floor and had a god view over the city. The room was very clean and rather big, albeit the desk could be bigger and the plugs around could be easier to reach (for a business trip). Personnel was very friendly. Breakfast is extraordinary, they have a huge choice of omelettes and other delicacies, and the smoothies are tasty, too.
On the downside: When I arrived at the reception, the first words were asking for the ID. No "welcome to the Marriott" or "did you have a good trip" ... five stars should be able to do better. - The free WiFi is very fast, but it requires logging in very often, even if you stay several days in this same hotel. - In my room, there was a noticeable draft from the ventilation system that reached the bed. As the ventilation cannot be switched off (only "turned down" and that is still rather strong), I found it necessary to sleep under the blanket all night despite the otherwise comfortable room temperature. - The shower has a fixed overhead shower head that cannot be detached. I personally prefer a handheld shower head, but that may just be a matter of preference ;-)
