Welcoming and attentive staff, comfortable room and beds. Full of character and tradition. Easy to get around Rotterdam from Hotel. Plenty of cafes and shops nearby and a tram stop very close. Not noisy.

The hotel is a 3 star superior at a 4 star level. The room was exceptionally clean with complimentary tea and illy coffee machine. The double bed was very comfortable and very big. The staff at rece were all cordial and friendly .hotel is situated in front of the bus tram stop and easy to move around even walking.
The windows are still the wooden ones which are very big but can be a bit noisy but bearable… slept well,

Lovely old property but beautifully renovated inside. Beautifully designed small breakfast area. Our twin room was spacious, airy and had lovely bathroom.

I stayed 3 nights and am glad I chose this hotel. I requested a quiet room and received top floor, back of the building, which was great. Every staff member I interacted with was very kind and helpful. The room was a bit dated (this is a historic building with various updates in the rooms but some stuff is still old) but clean. Having a mini-fridge was nice. Air con worked well and was good for me at night because the window let in several mosquitoes when I left it open. The lift was fast! I liked the location—walkable to pretty much everything but a bit removed from any chaos. As a solo traveler I felt very safe, and it was a good value.
WiFi caused some buffering occasionally during video meetings, so it wasn’t ideal for remote work. My room (a single) was extremely small, though I did see inside other rooms and they were much more spacious. The bed was fairly comfortable but not the best mattress.

Beautiful room, comfortable double bed, very clean, very friendly staff. The lady working in the afternoon, evenings was exceptional. Gave me restaurant suggestions to order in as I was too tired to go.
You have to go down to get anything you request from the reception. No room service on that part. Warm breakfast could do with some more items.
