This was my second stay, and from start to finish it was excellent, with friendly staff, a huge room by today's hotel standards, very clean too, with a great breakfast served piping hot at 7:30. It is in a terrific location too, near the arts/musueum district and only a 15 minute walk from the central train station with Eurostar connections all over Europe. Finally, the price was half of what I would expect to pay. Hint: stay here and train into Amsterdam for day trips to see the sights.
Really nothing. They have adopted self-check-in, like many hotels, but there was always a friendly, well-informed person at the front desk every morning.

The hotel itself was fine
The checkin process and getting in and out of building was cumbersome to say the least. We could get in using self checkin door but getting out was way harder as usual pathway was closed and we had to backtrack to self checkin door. At this moment, no staff was to be found anywhere to ask for directions or alternative paths.

The rooms were nice. We were glad to have air conditioning (as it rained so we couldn't leave our window open). The self check in process was surprisingly simple!
We needed to leave our luggage for the day after checking out. But the staff was not there during the posted hours. However, we ended up just leaving our luggage in our room, and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating when we came back to get it later. Also, guests should be aware that the stairs up to all the rooms are very steep, which is common in many Dutch hotels.

In the middle of the night, two intoxicated men (who appeared to be hotel staff) entered our room. They seemed to think it was funny, but I didn’t appreciate the joke. They woke us up for no reason and frightened us. I don’t understand how this kind of behavior is acceptable.

Not clean, reception works only a couple of hours, to many emails, rooms are not like on the pictures, noise was huge, towels smelly and not clean etc.

Located close to a tram stop and several restaurants and shops are nearby. The room was spacious.
It is located on a very busy street corner (traffic wise). The first night, we had issues with other guests slamming doors and talking loudly in the corridors until 3 am - at no fault to the hotel but it did negatively impact our stay.

since the hotel does not have a parking lot, it is necessary to park on the street where it costs over 5 euros per hour (22.00-9.00 free)

Room is decent, breakfast setup is very homey and warm atmosphere. But the most important fact is the people who work there. Very very helpful and always ready to help! I got a feeling of ‘home away from home’. Staff is the main assets here.
The night entrance was stiff, and hard for me to push open on the 1st attempt. At my age, I need to try a few times.

Having had a long journey, and felt exhausted, we were checked in earlier than expected.
Holding onto our luggage on the last day, whilst we explored Delfshaven was a bonus.
Staff when they were there, we're very accommodating.
Although the reception was not manned 24/7 we really didn't encounter any issues.
Housekeeping staff were attentive, in respect of, replenishing upon request, tea, coffee and milk. (don't expect any biscuits or bottled water)
The self check in didn't suit us. However, we did manage with some help.

Wonderful
Loved this place. Quiet, view, comfortable bed, good shower, attic room with view of historic buildings across the street. Would happily stay again or longer.
A couple of bits of maintenance are needed - towel rail in bathroom isn't working and AC unit isn't working. No drama for our stay, but probably needs sorted in time for summer or winter.
