I liked the vibes, I liked the breakfast, the staff everything
Maybe, some kind of investment in AC, but I also did come in and heatwave started and no-one could've expected it,therefore its not that I didn't like it, it's for future investment to get some but also not obligatory, the ceiling fan was enough.

Very easy check-in, lovely staff members and a nice clean room. We booked a double/twin room, and a few days before we travelled, we asked for a twin room. They initially confirmed they had booked a double room for us, but changed it to a twin room when we asked, which made the trip very comfortable for us. I found out later that this was something I could've specified myself on the booking, but they were still kind enough to change it for us. We were able to use the bag store on our last day after checkout, which made things much easier for us. Staff were always friendly and attentive and made it a very nice trip. The hotel is well located for public transport, nice restaurants for dinner (De Kade, Spaghattata, Casa Thai) and breakfast (Jordy's Bakery). It's also only a 15-minute walk from Rotterdam Centraal, and 20 minutes walk to the Cube Houses, the Euromast, and other landmarks. Great place to stay!

The staff were very nice. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. I got the impression that the hotel is good because the whole team works very hard. It is an old and, perhaps, dated building, but the cleanliness and welcome make up for it. Breakfast was nice, with the cooked element prepared to order. Location very convenient for the Central station, bars and restaurants.
I would have preferred to keep my bicycle inside rather than in the rear garden. That said, the corridors are very narrow.

Location was good and male reception staff were nice.
The bed was tiny and very uncomfortable so I hardly got any sleep. There were no blackout curtains so it was impossible to sleep in the morning. The dark skinned breakfast attending lady had a tendency to discriminate some guest and ignoring them with a la cart menu. I requested the invoice for the stay 3 times already and haven't received it yet!

Wonderful
Our room was an oasis of calm after busy Rotterdam, located at the back, overlooking a garden. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking everywhere. We also appreciated the parking and that we could use it after 11:00. Thanks to Rob for being such a good host.
Just a suggestion - tea making facilities in the room would have been great.
