Located in the heart of Rotterdam, FLOATS by H2OTEL Rotterdam offers unique accommodations floating on the water of the Wijnhaven harbor. Accomodating front desk staff. Very clean rooms. Pleasant breakfast buffet under $20. A facility with an interesting history. Directly on a canal.
No porter or concierge to help with heavy luggage but the young women at the front desk graciously “ stepped up to the plate”. Room rather sparse but very clean and comfortable bed and bedding.

Location is ideal. Room had AC, very important now in the summer months in Rotterdam. Appreciate hotel housekeeping.
Hotel needs to make sure common area Infront of hotel is cleaned. Nice area but cigarettes and trash accumulate on ground. Bathroom was fine but no place to hang towels, the shower was very slow drainage.

The Floats is in City Centre, all we wanted was walkable. The staff was fabulous - answered our questions, suggested local places to go and were gracious re our special requests.
The room is small and somewhat awkward and DARK! but a good value and it was long day time.

The hotel is ok if you stay 1,2 nights. The lady working in the restaurant was so nice and very very helpful as we had a baby with us(she is ukranian, I forgot her name). She made our stay better. The breakfast was very yumii
The rooms are very dark and what was called “room with view” it s actually just a small window on the upper part of the wall that if you can t even reach if you are short. To phones in the room if you want to call the reception.

Location was good.
Night staff behavior was horrible and unprofessional And somewhat insulting . I was on holiday and didnt want to ruin my mood otherwise I would follow it. Im addition, breakfast is not buffet and we should wait 10 15 minutes so that we receive the menu after complaining! despite of the fact we were asked at what time we wanna have breakfast snd was kind of reservation time for breakfast! So I can say that was the most horrible experience staying in a hotel.
