Wonderful
Beautiful place, very quiet amid the bustling streets of Rotterdam. Will definitely stay again, longer. Great location, and the owners were wonderfully accommodating.
No extra pillows, shirt visit maybe they were there and we just needed to ask for them? No way to turn the heat up in the rental BB, on cold mornings it would be a nice warm area just while drying off.

A great and varied breakfast each morning. It’s ideally situated a 5/10 minute walk from the railway station through residential streets with a small park. The other side of the station is the city centre with, shops, restaurants and other cultural sites.
Roadworks meant we had a slight detour to get to the city centre. Plus cyclists are everywhere, coming at you from left, right and behind, even on the pavement you’re not safe from these people. You need your head on a swivel. But that’s the same anywhere you go in the Netherlands.

Super nice breakfast, adapted to our needs (both vegetarian and mealbox due to early checkout).
The accomodation was very comfortable, so much that it felt like home. It was very pleasent to look at chickens while having a coffee in the garden in the middle of Rotterdam.
The beds were also superbe, and the hosts super friendly and hospitable.

**Excellent Stay in Rotterdam - Highly Recommended!**
We had a wonderful stay at B&B Walenburg and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rotterdam.
Location: The location is fantastic - just a short walking distance from Rotterdam Centraal station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city or catching trains.
Breakfast: The breakfast exceeded our expectations! It was plentiful and delicious, with a great variety of fresh fruits that changed daily. A perfect way to start each day.
Room & Atmosphere: The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The B&B has a quiet, peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to relax after busy days of sightseeing.
Hospitality: The hosts were wonderful - welcoming, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.
Overall, B&B Walenburg offers excellent value and a truly pleasant experience. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and absolutely recommend it to other travelers!
The toilet is on the smaller side, which may be less comfortable for larger guests. However, the separate bathroom is quite spacious, featuring two basins and a nice shower.

Friendly welcome & tips on places to see in Rotterdam. Spacious studio with view over & access to lovely garden. Interesting, quirky house. Delicious, fresh breakfasts. Very close to public transport links - approx 5 minutes walk from Rotterdam Centraal - and at same time very quiet, peaceful space to be in. Enjoyed Rotterdam - easy to get around, interesting architecture, friendly people. Highly recommended.

The beds were very comfortable and for anyone who has any concerns about the bathroom and shower being seperate, please know there is no issue whatsoever about privacy as guests enjoy the entire main floor. There is a grocery store within a short walking distance and the best in terms of location was the very pleasant walk along a tree lined canal to get to this B&B from the main train station in about 10 minutes. We had an early train departure to leave Rotterdam and it was so very much appreciated that Machteld prepared a generous breakfast bag to go. Wonderful hosts and a great place to stay.
