Thoroughly enjoyed a 4 night stay. Breakfast was cheerfully brought every day by Remko. We enjoyed the lush outdoor seating and sometimes saw the chickens. The beds were very comfortable and for anyone who has any concerns about the bathroom and shower being seperate, please know there is no issue whatsoever about privacy as guests enjoy the entire main floor. There is a grocery store within a short walking distance and the best in terms of location was the very pleasant walk along a tree lined canal to get to this B&B from the main train station in about 10 minutes. We had an early train departure to leave Rotterdam and it was so very much appreciated that Machteld prepared a generous breakfast bag to go. Wonderful hosts and a great place to stay.

The apartment is absolutely charming and was perfect for our short stay in Rotterdam. It had everything we could have wished for, including a lovely terrace overlooking the garden where we could enjoy a brief break from sightseeing. The location is very convenient - only a short walk from the main station - and the apartment itself is very quiet, even though the house is on a main road. The hosts, Machteld and Remko, were very helpful and welcoming and they served us a delicious breakfast. We would love to come back!

I always wanted to live in a typical Dutch house and this apartment gave me the opportunity to do so. The house is located in a residential area 7 minutes walk from Rotterdam Centraal. The streetcar (line 125) leaves 1 minute away and takes you to the city center, which is only 5 minutes away from the market hall. Supermarkets are within walking distance. Since parking is charged throughout Rotterdam, we parked the car in a parking garage that we could easily reach thanks to public transportation. The trip was a gift for my mother, who felt very comfortable. All in all, this apartment is my first choice when I come back to Rotterdam. Many thanks to the very nice and attentive hosts. Breakfast was served in the apartment

Good beds & memory foam mattresses, terrace & garden, wildlife visible in the garden (parrots, dragonflies, woodpeckers, bats & birds of prey), well equipped kitchen and wonderful location.
Shower pressure was a bit low.
