I really liked how clean and comfortable everything was. The bed was great, and the bed linen was of very good quality. I also loved the design. I was traveling with my two children, and we felt very comfortable there. The staff at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful. I made a mistake with the booking (or Booking.com may have made a mistake), and I didn’t notice that I had booked the room for only one person, even though we were three. They immediately gave me another room without charging anything extra—I only had to pay the taxes for all three of us. Wow. Even though I was with two children, I did not expect such kindness. There is also a small gym, which is included in the price, and my kids loved going there. One receptionist, a lady with blonde hair and a very kind voice (possibly named Claudia—sorry I didn’t write this review earlier so I could remember her name for sure), even offered to bring me groceries with her car so my children could eat during the day while we were attending a full-day seminar where there were no shopping options. Wow. Who does something like that? She also gave us leftover croissants from the restaurant—still fresh from that morning—which they were not going to serve anymore, and she knew we didn’t have time to go shopping. Wow. We were truly amazed by the kindness. I was more than satisfied—I was completely blown away. Thank you so much for your humanity and help.Great experience, we will come back and recommend to anyone.

Far from Amsterdam attractions No smoking area organised in front of the hotel

The worst experience I have ever had. When me and my girlfriend first arrived at the hotel, it was before our Check In Time, so by instruction of the staff, we left our luggage in some storage room in the hall. They confirmed that our luggage is safe and that there is nothing for us to worry about. So we left to explore Amsterdam... Later that day, when we arrived to check in, all of our stuff was missing. They had no idea where our luggage went. We where left with nothing. They continue to claim that our personal items where not their problem even though they said the luggage was safe in their storage room. After hours of stress and going back and forth with the staff it turned out that some other guest took the luggage by mistake. So don't leave the luggage in the storage room, they have no evidence what is going on in that room. After this stressful situation they didn't even bother to clean our room once in 4 nights, even though we requested two days in a row. We had to go to the reception to get new towels. Also we chose on Booking a "Standard King Room" with one queen bed but we got two single beds merged together instead of one queen bed. The air conditioning was turning on during the night and it was making very loud noises even though it was turn off in the room. The metro is very far, 15-20 min walking in the wind. Nothing in the hotel was good. Totaly not worth it. And it wasn't even cheap!

I think overall cleanliness can be improved. There were multiple areas that were red flags for me. For example: - The check-in process took a very long time and this is despite having a pre-booking made on booking.com. - The nearby decorative pieces in the lobby were accumulating a massive amount of dust, clearly indicating that this was an oversight for not just one month but many months of accumulation of dust and dirt in surrounding areas. - Our hotel room also smelled of cigarettes despite it being a non-smoking room. - Upon entering the room the first thing that hit me was a smell of very strong deodorant that was sprayed before entry. This leads me to believe that maybe something had been sprayed prior to us entering the room to mask the smell of tobacco and cigarettes, which was still very present in the room. Although the bathroom was clean, the wash basin was almost useless to use as the mirror above the wash basin had a shelf that protruded out from the wall and covered half the basin. This means that when leaning over to wash your face in the basin, it was almost impossible without you smashing your forehead on the shelf and then causing an absolute mess of water splashing all over the floor. I'm not sure who thought of this design and how it got approved but it's completely illogical. Also the coffee machine in our room was full of mould. Upon further inspection I advised my relatives not to consume any coffee from the coffee machine. It seems generally this hotel has issues with cleaning thoroughly. Another odd thing is that upon arriving in my room I found a load of post-it notes stuck on the wall from a previous guest, basically expressing how grateful they were for their stay. Although I get the intention behind it, I thought it was quite unprofessional to have a new guest enter the room with a load of post-it notes stuck on the wall. A very silly thing to do and they should have been taken off prior to me entering the room for my stay.

Breakfast not having enough varieties food's The windows wasn't able to open and close... Welcome drinks or coffee are didn't provide

The location is in 15min walking distance to metro station.

Property did not had the mobile charger point , laptop charger either lack of facilities to Indian guests , did not had breakfast by paying huge amount for stay

Location far from center , they gave us a wrong room and then “they upgrade us “ to the room we booked when the heater was not working. Thin walls , no room service no service whatsoever sadly

The bathroom was very small, and we couldn't properly wash our faces in the sink. The shower could also be cleaner, and the beds could definitely be more comfortable and some better pillows.
