12' walk to metro station Amstelveen,
A convenient gas-station bar just outside the hotel , open until late night to grab a coffe or a snack [actually the only facility around]
Easy, relaxed , clean. No rats outside - some areas like Sloterdjik are full of rats at night. A business quarter with empty strets at night but absolutely safe.
The furniture needs a refreshing
Breakfast is not cheap unless you are used at it as the main meal of the day - but generally speaking Amsterdam is definitely not a cheap city, and in the last six months prices have skyrocketed

The property was good. The train station is 12-17 mins away from the hotel. But it was easy to get an Uber.
The towel shelf’s in the bathroom are too high and even the towel rods. It’s difficult for short people. Also no extra toilet papers were kept in the bathroom , though our stay was for 3 nights. One of the staff at the kitchen was very rude. The breakfast on a weekday got over at 8 am, when asked it was said that it’s over and they don’t have it anymore.

The hotel was located not far from the place where I needed to be. The drink options at the bar were nice. A problem with my room access keycard was solved very quickly by the staff member on duty in the early morning.
The hotel may have been great in the 80s/90s, but it's stuck in that period. The room, in particular the beds, looked like something out of a student dorm. The staff wasn't rude, but most didn't seem pleased to be there either. The bathroom was minimal and a plus sized person would have serious difficulties sitting on that toilet.

It was okay.
It wasn’t the cleanest, mold in the shower, fridge wasn’t really cold. Quite a walk from the next station. You can hear your neighbours.

Great and safe location. Easy to get around.
I really liked how clean and comfortable everything was. The bed was great, and the bed linen was of very good quality. I also loved the design. I was traveling with my two children, and we felt very comfortable there.
The staff at the reception was incredibly kind and helpful. I made a mistake with the booking (or Booking.com may have made a mistake), and I didn’t notice that I had booked the room for only one person, even though we were three. They immediately gave me another room without charging anything extra—I only had to pay the taxes for all three of us. Wow. Even though I was with two children, I did not expect such kindness.
There is also a small gym, which is included in the price, and my kids loved going there.
One receptionist, a lady with blonde hair and a very kind voice (possibly named Claudia—sorry I didn’t write this review earlier so I could remember her name for sure), even offered to bring me groceries with her car so my children could eat during the day while we were attending a full-day seminar where there were no shopping options. Wow. Who does something like that?
She also gave us leftover croissants from the restaurant—still fresh from that morning—which they were not going to serve anymore, and she knew we didn’t have time to go shopping. Wow.
We were truly amazed by the kindness. I was more than satisfied—I was completely blown away.
Thank you so much for your humanity and help.Great experience, we will come back and recommend to anyone.

The worst experience I have ever had.
When me and my girlfriend first arrived at the hotel, it was before our Check In Time, so by instruction of the staff, we left our luggage in some storage room in the hall. They confirmed that our luggage is safe and that there is nothing for us to worry about.
So we left to explore Amsterdam...
Later that day, when we arrived to check in, all of our stuff was missing. They had no idea where our luggage went. We where left with nothing. They continue to claim that our personal items where not their problem even though they said the luggage was safe in their storage room. After hours of stress and going back and forth with the staff it turned out that some other guest took the luggage by mistake.
So don't leave the luggage in the storage room, they have no evidence what is going on in that room.
After this stressful situation they didn't even bother to clean our room once in 4 nights, even though we requested two days in a row. We had to go to the reception to get new towels.
Also we chose on Booking a "Standard King Room" with one queen bed but we got two single beds merged together instead of one queen bed.
The air conditioning was turning on during the night and it was making very loud noises even though it was turn off in the room.
The metro is very far, 15-20 min walking in the wind.
Nothing in the hotel was good. Totaly not worth it.
And it wasn't even cheap!
