Good
The room was large and had a balcony facing the street. There was plenty of light and a relaxing view. There was a coffee machine in the room to make your own coffee. The location is also very convenient to access the National Park (it is walking distance to one of the park main entrances).
Breakfast is expensive and does not have a lot of options if you like a sweet breakfast (e.g., a simple cake would be nice to add). The stairs to the rooms are pretty steep, especially if you travel with an active toddler. Our bathroom was full of ants (it could be the proximity to the park, but it is not great).

Wonderful
Such a convenient place to stay....bus stops a short walk away from hotel. Het Nationale Park de Hogue Velowe is at the end of the street making this a great place to stay if you are heading for the Kroller Muller museum or just to spend some time in the park. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We felt the beds were a little soft for our liking, but everyone is different and enjoys a different level of firmness. Otherwise loved everything about this place!

Wonderful
Nice room, comfortable beds and nice location. Self check was convenient but we prefer a normal check in. We were told our room was on the first floor via a messsge and as Americans we thought that was great since this reasonable hotel did not have an elevator. In Europe 0 is the main floor! We are glad we are traveling with “carry on luggage” but the circular staircase was a little bit of a challenge …even with a small suitcase. Travel light when you visit Europe.

Exceptional
We really enjoyed the breakfast! Thanks! The bed was very comfortable and the b&b is walking distance away from de Veluwe, and since we brought the dog that was excellent.
The automatic bathroom lights we didn't like, during the night I like it to stay dark and it went on and stayed on very long every time someone had to use the facilities.

Pleasant
Convenient location, cozy vibe of the hotel, nice lounge room downstairs, very clean rooms
I booked two identical Family rooms for 3 persons each. Upon arrival the rooms were prepared for 2 ppl each, and one room was smaller than advertised. They quickly added +1 bed and linen to each room, but later they tried to charge us for an extra person per room and I had to waste a lot of time to prove we've reserved for 3 and paid the correct price. Returning the money overpaid for a 34 sq.m. room, while we got a smaller one - was refused.
Breakfast is overpriced: for 17.50 pp you have good quality products but way too limited options to choose from. And the humiliation of having to boil eggs for yourself and just stand and watch it for 5 min so that no one else takes your egg?? No option for omelette btw. Cutting your own vegetables etc. - I have no problem doing it - but not when I paid that price. Overall, at the price paid for the rooms, I would expect more tbh. And definitely, other places I've seen at this price - have more personnel to take care of guests/attend to the reception. The place seems understaffed/trying to save by having less personnel.
Unfortunately, although overall seemingly a nice place - those little details make me think of it as an unpleasant stay.

Room and location are good. We liked everyone on the friendly staff. Everyone was helpful.
Breakfast seemed pricey.
The automatic flashing on bathroom light was annoying in the middle of the night. There should be a way to turn it off.
Maybe there is but we didn't know.

‘Blue eye’ principle?!?!! You state, after I pay, ‘we operate in the “blue-eye” principle.’ After I PAID!!! Jesus lord have mercy on your evil soul. How dare you. In 2024.

B&B within walking distance from the Hoge Veluwe's entrace, truly amazing breakfast, super kind personnel.
The bed/pillows weren't too comfortable, but if you will have walked in the Veluwe all day, you will sleep well anyway

The location is really good. Great coffee in the rooms.
No bottled water in the communal fridge. Hard to operate the TV. The breakfast is too expensive.

Beautiful location and friendly staff.
The bed wasn't comfortable at all and the bathroom light went on by itself in the middle of the night making it hard for my partner to stay asleep.

Poor
Room was said to have airconditioning but it was a portable machine with an exhaust tube to hang outside of the window.
We asked the staff if we could store our bottles in their fridge so we could finish our night hiking with a cool glass of wine in our room and they stored the drinks in the fridge of the restaurant which was inaccessible for us at night in stead of telling us or storing it in the fridge for guest use.
The room was small with a slanted roof highlighting it's limited space.
As a breakfast hotel the breakfast was good but quite limited. The owner admitted they the croissants were not from a bakery. No hot breakfast included besides boiled eggs which you have to boil yourself. Just sunnyside eggs. No sausages, bacon or scrambled eggs. Very limited for 17,5 euros per person each morning on top of the 75 euro's per person per night for a small attic room.
