Photos hardly capture the beauty of this lovingly tended boutique villa. I encourage those who seek a olde world feel stay to make their reservation. The room, dining, and gardens are all up to snuff. Downtown Beukenhof is a stroll away and worth the effort.
Simply more coffee pods in our room would have been good. FYI, the fridge in South Africa is not cold.

Excellent restaurant (thé service could be a bit quicker, but at the same time the guests can take their time enjoying the food). Well equipped bathroom, stylish rooms. The city center is a nice 30 minutes walk. Spacious parking.

The whole villa is just insanely bautiful, the room was perfect and romantic. Everyone there was super friendly, they showed us everything and even offered a welcome drink. It was definitely a very nice experience and I would totally come back.
It was quite expensive, but I understand the location is really close to Amsterdam and to all the tullip fields.

The Paris room had a nice wide bath which for my broad shoulders is rare & his and her basins is a nice touch, with a comfortable and cosy bedroom. The atmosphere of the restaurant is charming and the meal exceptional, with very good service. A very short walk to the end of the road leads to a small high street with a collection of cafes & restaurants with a super market in case you need provisions. The bus services near by are great for getting into Leiden and so less stressful than driving and parking which we did once to fing the only parking option was 28 euros for the day !
Bathroom toilet not very private to bedroom with loosley closing doors and a blind that only partially covers the glass with a perfect viewing angle for anyone sat up in bed,, so pick your moments. Also the small window above the bath has no blind which although looks out across a flat roof and trees in the distant park still feels a little open to view.

We loved Villa Beukenhof! The gardens are stunning. We were in the Dubai room. Our friends had the Paris room. Both our beds were very comfortable. And the bathrooms were spacious and wonderful. I would definitely book again if traveling this area.
The Dubai room could use more light options.

Villa Beukenhof is just a magical place. Wonderful gardens, beautiful room with a lovely deep bath. The food is fantastic and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.
