Staff was great. Facility was nice
Did a quick dive late at night and noticed chlorine irritations in throat and skin. As someone who works in pools and had a profession as a prof swimmer, i can tell when chlorine is off.
Additionally received, allergic reactions from dust in the room: mainly from area on the floor around the bed. Had to call off work the day after due to both instances.
Additionally, the bed was not upto Van Der Valk standards or to what Im used too

The food, staff and room were lovely....wish we had more time to spend to maybe enjoy our balcony and more amenities.
The bathroom was amazing nice big tub with jets and a stand rain shower...along with a dyson hairdryer - a great plus and not expecting.
The cost was high but due to when we were there (Easter weekend) and location so it was understandable. Really that is the only thing I didn't like but it is Europe and Netherlands and we knew going in it was going to be expensive.

I liked the hotel in general. The room is large. The bathroom has a jacuzzi and shower. Breakfast is great.
The restaurant does not have a large menu. Keep in mind that it’s better to book a table for the evening in advance. Cleaning was not very good quality

Pretty much the tone of voice and guest relations that a few FO seem to use for customer experience. As a manager at 5 Star Hotel, I noticed some employees seem to lack the experience in guest and guest relations. And I've chosen vdv as my out of office choice. To be fair, most of the team do show and talk to guests as should one expect. This could be one of the cases. ( I hope)

OK hotel but the location is rather isolated from shops, restaurants etc. We found several things in our room that needed attention as to maintenance. The parking was a plus and the wifi worked well. Staff didn't seem to be very welcoming. I would most likely not stay here again.
