Great location and, it is wonderful that it is near to the beach and in the city centerr..The interior design of the hotel, I love it! Modern and artistic concept. Bountiful breakfast that we have enjoyed, there is a champagne and wine! The staffs are accommodating. And also a bonus the hotel is nearby to a tulips field 1km walking distance and free entrance. We have a beautiful view overlooking the full moon from the balcony..Overall it is an exellellent experience for us. We definitely go back.

I know this hotel for years mainly due to business trips and this time we came for a few days vacation. I just love the Hogerhuys and its people. Simply a place with great atmosphere, where you feel comfortable. They always have a great breakfast buffet and good drinks are served at the bar. Because my lady had her birthday I have asked for flowers in our room in advance and a beautuful bouquet of flowers was there, when we arrived.

Breakfast was good, offering quite a lot of options. The room we booked was not the standard room, that is why it was bigger, with a great bathroom and a terrace. A beautiful room! The hotel is not located "on the beach", but it is more or less 10 minutes away from it. Which is perfect, if you also like a bit of calm and also enjoy a short walk to and from the beach.
Ww liked everything, but there was one thing missing: a restaurant in case one wants to have lunch or dinner there. Unfortunately they were still missing a chef when we were there.

The room is relatively simple, but has all I needed. Comfortable bed, reasonable desk, tea kettle and a good wifi. There was a small balcony with a nice view. The room was clean. The breakfast is very good. I enjoyed the bar in the hotel and the staff was always friendly.
I only have one complaint: unfortunately, the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of what is happening in other rooms. Not a big problem in January when the hotel is largely empty, but this time (July) the hotel was full and the noise was quite unpleasant. Its a pity, otherwise the hotel would be nearly perfect.
