Check-in and check-out were fast. Breakfast was pretty good (the eggs aside), as was being able to take your coffee after breakfast outside and sit on the promenade for a bit. The hotel is in a good spot to hit the beach, walk to many restaurants, and parking was sufficient, relatively close by, and included underground parking, out of the blazing sun. The price for parking is normal for the Netherlands.
The hotel is right next to several restaurants of varying, but mostly good, quality. Lamme Goedzak, on your way to the parking garage, is flawless.
The lady doing check-out comped us three days parking immediately when at check-out I answered the "how was your stay" honestly.
Most of the staff does not greet you. Even if you say good morning first, they will ignore you despite looking you right in the eyes. This is normal for Dutchies on the street maybe, but in a hotel?
Reported issues (bathroom not clean, pipe leaking through the ceiling) were promised to be looked at and not touched at all all week. One staff member was genuinely unpleasant bordering on hostile when we wanted to get a bite to eat more than an hour before the website and menu said the kitchen closes.
I don't mind spending money on service, but then I do expect to be treated like a guest, rather than a nuisance.

Not value for money, paid 150 eu for a tiny room with one bed and a bathroom. Expected more with that price and not even a view in the room.

We rented the little house. Loved the historic building but also a good bathroom. Great idea to have a sink upstairs with the bedroom.
The bed under the eaves with no room to walk around both sides .

Absolutely loved the location. The property is updated and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The property is across the street from the beach and stunning sunset! Thank you for a great experience. Would definitely stay here again.
Our room was on the first floor. People above us were loud. The hotel provides ear plugs, so not an isolated incident. Loved that they acknowledged the possibility of noise by providing ear plugs.

Restaurant and Bar were nice
Despite being told our room #306 was an upgrade, it was cramped with maybe 30cms either side of the pushed together twin beds. Bathroom was cramped, shower floor tiles were treacherous when wet, Bath towels were old. and scratchy. View was bleak. Furnishing were sad and more suited to a motel rather than a hotel. TV/entertainment system was dismal offering no premium channels and a remote that was way too complex. Parking at the hotel was 35 euros per night.

The location, as we had our wedding party at a beachclub nearby.
No parking, and that's was a massive problem as we had to park very far away due to the festival on the street.
Also the staff didn't care at all that it was our weeding day and the lady at the reception was poorly trained, no hospitality whatsoever.

The pool, size of room
No mini fridge in the room. I didn’t like that the reception staff was unfriendly when asked why I was charged an extra 30€ upon arrival for the addition of a third bed when I did not request it (after being asked if I wanted one) when I had a toddler I would bed share with.

Great location mins from beach. Stayed in exec family sea view room - really spacious, comfortable beds.
Public areas felt a little tired, shower curtain in bathroom would be great to change for shower screen
