The hotel was undertaking repairs to the heating and air conditioning systems when we stayed and this made the room very hot. Had we known that this was happening in advance we would have chosen a different hotel. Additionally when we arrived for breakfast on the first morning there was little food available.

One dreadful staff member in the resturant Basically after a long wait at the bar told us she had no time to serve us - we went elsewhere. Looking at previous posts this seems to be a persistent problem. One post suggests it may be an issue with nationality - would probably agree. Needs management attention. Not acceptable.

Location of the hotel was perfect for the purpose of the trip. Enough parking places for disabled people.
The window was locked and there was a big sticker on it so..no view. We had a room where the wash tube was not in the bathroom. There was a lamp above and it was not possible to be switched off. We had to switch off the electricity and then we could not recharge anything. A note how to sw8tch it off, will help a lot.

The room setting is very nice and cosy. The hotel is situated at a great location, which makes it easier to achieve a restful stay.
The bed was not ideal for a couple. There was a gap in the middle of the bed. There was no mirror in the bathroom, and they charged tourist taxes per night.

Easy parking, good bar/ restaurant and exceptional wellness facilities.
Being ultra critical, the double bed was two singles with two duvets.

Thanks for a lovely stay, the staff were very friendly, the room always clean, the bed was really comfortable and shower was truly excellent, that is everything I could ask for, next time I come back to the Netherlands I will have no hesitation in staying here. Many thanks for helping make our stay to see Bruce Springsteen in Nijmegen very memorable.
