It is a very well executed self-service hotel. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable, with just enough colour and quirky edge. The location is unbeatable, in the heart of Wyck and a comfortable walk to the station or Vrijthof. This was a last minute booking that exceeded my expectations.
I wish I knew ahead of time that it was self service - but that’s my fault. I came around quickly. Note that it may put off people who are expecting full service, an on-property concierge, or plush olde worlde furnishings.

The hotel was clean.and comfortable with spacious rooms. We loved the free coffee, tea and snacks available anytime as well as the Honesty Bar. It has great space to sit and visit. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in during our travels in Europe.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel and it truly exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect—close to everything, making it very convenient to explore the area. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were outstanding, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I also really appreciated the shower, which had strong water pressure—something that makes a big difference after a long day. A lovely touch was the honest bar and the availability of fresh fruit, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and for those that like big pillows was great, I prefer a flatter pillow. The location was ideal for a weekend visit. The free coffee was also well received.
The room was large but Id expect comfortable chairs or a sofa to relax in. There were lots of whirring noises throughout our stay. The outside courtyard was closed in the evening. The room was overpriced. We didnt have the breakfast as id already read what you were given for your money. The parking we booked was really expensive.

Clean, I liked the style, the facilities were good, the location on the Wyck side made it three minutes walk from the station. I discovered it was part of the Hotel Beaumont in Maastricht, so that pretty much assures you of quality and value. The staff are very helpful, very professional. I am in the city three to four times a year, and The Dutch is now going to be my hotel of choice every time, even ahead of my much-loved Beaumont! On this trip I was in the city during Carnival, hence the exotic dress of citizens in the photos.

Wonderful
The room was classed as medium, but was very spacious and had a fabulous high ceiling. The bed was really comfortable. I enjoyed having a glass of wine at the ‘honesty’ bar, which I paid for before leaving. Really nice breakfast too. Very convenient for the station and the town centre.
The shower was over the bath, so not as easy to get into as a walk in
