Stayokay Hostel Maastricht is located on the banks of the Maas River, just a 5-minute walk from the city center of Maastricht. The large terrace provides a view on the water. The canteen facilities were good. A good value for money breakfast and nice bar and eating area. The staff were very friendly and helpful
cleanliness of rooms was not good. rooms were not clean even on arrival and everything just felt dusty and dirty. Even if it was a hostel, considering the high charge, we found that very disappointing.

Exactly what I expected. The hotel stuff was nice and friendly. They have a good underground bike parking spot that is locked and under camera survaillance. Close to the city centre and with a nice view of the river.
The only downside is the ventilation of the rooms. I had the bunk bed and it was difficult to sleep because of the heat, while outside it was around 20 degrees. However, I can reccommend this place.
