The location and the design. Pictures of the common areas look way better than it actually is. And it’s much too far from the city centre

The location is definitely perfect, with a lake view I can't whish better. Clean and peaceful. Possibility of parking the car in the hotel park area is plus.

Bath was good
Room felt sparse and dull. There was dirt on the radiator and it made a weird noise. The worst was probably that I could hear the next door's TV on (which they had on the whole night). There wasn't a bedside table and the light switches were very far from the bed. The light itself didn't seem to be long enough to be used for reading.

Lovely stay at the Garner Hotel Maastricht. The room was a very good size, the bed was big and very comfortable, and the bathroom was well situated and clean. The breakfast was superb with lots of options and the staff were extremely helpful at all times.
The location was a little further away from the centre than I was expecting.

I had a very pleasant stay. A special thank you goes to the gentleman at the reception on Easter Monday morning. He was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to arrange a taxi for my son and me during a very stressful situation. Thanks to his quick and professional assistance, we managed to catch our flight on time. He was a true lifesaver, and we are very grateful for his help!

Location and the view from the room
As someone who also started the career as a Front Office Associate and currently works for IHG, I expected a higher level of professionalism from the front office team. Unfortunately, the service did not feel up to the usual IHG standards and the staff did not seem very well trained. However, I would like to highlight that the night receptionist was good, helpful, and provided much better service. I hope the management can improve the training and support for the front office team.

Location, staff was very helpful.
Only the parking space, you have to pay 15 euro per night even you have selected free parking from booking, other than that everything was ok.
