The hall was very nice, with games and areas for children to play! Outside too, with pingpongs and the swimming pool open until 8:00PM. Restaurant was really nice, quality was pretty good and service was excellent
Room could have been cleaner. Even after 2 cleaning rounds, there still were leftovers papers from the previous tenants of the room. On the first cleaning round, we suspect the towels were not changed. You also have to ask for some items like a toilet brush that I think should be in the room despite the "green" call.

Disappointing
Location was handy for my business trip but it is far away from central Maastricht for those that need to be in the city. And the hotel does not offer/have any shuttle service. Staff was friendly to offer me an umbrella so I could go to my meeting without getting soaking wet (in absence of a shuttle service).
Quite a lot to be honest: 1) the room was not fully clean, 2) a hotel layout with only 1 long corridor and many (small) rooms - this is not what i expected from a Novotel hotel, 3) very noisy rooms with limited (no!) privacy. All noises from corridor and neighboring rooms could be verbally understood, 4) the price! Re latter, I paid close to EUR 300,- for a 1-night stay, 1 person. And the service I got for this was below standard ... sorry to say. No more this hotel for me.

Had to wait 40 minutes before we could check in. Only one receptionist was there while others were busy talking in the back room. After about 35mins of chatting, someone came out and opened the second counter. Not great if you're waiting with two toddlers. Then when we came in the room it wasn't fully clean. Bathroom sink had weird stains and the mattresses were sagging.
Then, when parking the car, there was a large group of young men hanging around the parking lot next to around 50+ fatbikes. These young men were all watching my family while we parked the car. It did not feel safe taking all the stuff out of the car while being watched by a group of men. Especially as we have young children with us. We paid over 400 euros in total (incl parking) to stay there for two nights. I would think twice of going back here.
