Location and historical site! Great bar and service.
Shower in the bath, no outside seating, dark. Twin beds were very small. Valuw for money wqs disappointing.

Location, esepcially ground floor room with tall ceilings. Like a room with a bathtub and not just a shower. Nice blackout curtains. Beautiful hallways on groundfloor with stained glass and artwork.
I would have like some flatter fluffier pillows and I found the duvet too warm.

The building is incredible — magnificent. And the art is inspiring.
It is quite expensive. It’s about to be remodeled because fixtures etc are starting to break. I struggled with the high design shower and never got it to work properly. I’ve stayed in several hotels in Maastricht and it’s certainly the highest touch in terms of staff trying to be helpful and accommodating. On the other hand it isn’t generous in the way that other hotels in that price range are.
