Helpful staff, spacious room, good shower and breakfast. Everything was very clean even though the hotel lobby area is undergoing redecoration. If you can walk easily the location was quite good and along a straight road to the town centre.
The bath was slippery and getting out felt quite dangerous - a bath mat would have been helpful. The toilet cistern took quite a long time to fill and the flush needed to be operated more than once. We were told that the walk to the QPark garage was three minutes but it was about double that.

They upgraded us to a family room what was really nice. The room was clean. The staff at the check in also very friendly. Breakfast just ok. Other Leonardo hotels offer better service for breakfast.
Just having experienced the Leonardo Hotel breakfast in Leeuwarden, I was very disappointed about the breakfast offered here. The breakfast room is very small, they don’t offer much options in terms of fruits and vegetables. Also the bread selection was very limited. And the coffee machine areas were not clean.

Unpractictal room with bath open in the middle of the room and unfunctional lighting, which makes the room really dark.

Lovely place to stay and beautiful part of town, within minutes from station. Friendly reception and excellent value for money.
