Location is in nature
Upon my arrival they charged me 40 euros for extra bed which they didn’t provide. My room already had sofa bed for which I should not have been charged but they still charged me extra money.
Upon my discussion with manager next morning, I wanted to get refund for the bed I didn’t get, it was reduced from 40 to 20 euros giving me the reason as linen charges.

Good sized room; quiet and comfortable ; nice nature walk right outside the door
Room was very cold when we arrived; took awhile to warm up! Would have liked more coffee cups as only one small cup per person for tea at night snd coffee in morning is a bit skimpy

Good location in a peaceful place and great for connecting with nature, the room was comfortable and relatively spacious.
The room was cold when we arrived and the heating wasn't working 100%. In addition the breakfast wasn't worth the price, very little variety and almost nothing to choose from when we arrived at 9.45am.

Small but cosy comfortable room. Nice comfy beds. Radiator with dial so you can control heating to your liking. Nice shower. Tea kettle and fancy coffee maker in room.
Location is bit strange. Not convenient for nearby town if you don't have a car. No staff on hand after hours so if you're back late and key card doesn't work you have a problem.

Very basic but good. I liked the beds, bathroom and location.
The balcony could use some tlc. It was riddled with leaves. Also a bit more attention to cleaning. A stain in the carpet which I think could have been cleaned. Very sparse with cups as well.

Stayed for two nights late Aug. 2024 in a larger double-room. Hotel is fairly good, but does not stand out as special or particularly memorable. The Plus-Points are its location in the country outside of the town of Lochem where many visitors can make bicycle tours or go for long walks in the surrounding forests. Also good was the very good bed. All other amenities were acceptable, clean and in good working order. The hotel also has plenty of car-parking places. One Minus-Point is the lack of bug-mosquito screens at the windows. As the hotel is near water-ways and at the edge of forests and fields, there are plenty of mosquitoes. Finally, Breakfast was very plentiful, but dinner was a bit disappointing... rather simple and not very nicely presented.

Decent hotel surrounded by forest and with a nice swimming pool. Staff was friendly, breakfast good and the room we stayed in clean and comfortable.
