We stayed at Van der Valk Hotel Heerlen from April 18 to May 1. This was our third long stay, but this time the experience was very disappointing
On the day of departure, my disabled mother felt very unwell and needed to rest. I asked for a late check-out until 12:00, but the manager (Lin) refused. At 11:20 we received rude phone calls telling us to come to reception within 5 minutes.
At check-out, we were also asked to pay again for breakfast and tourist tax, which were already paid.
Staff attitude was arrogant and unfriendly. Housekeeping was poor, and service requests were ignored

Great location for an overnight stop after a long journey before continuing on the next day. Very comfortable room and bed. Lovely breakfast before the next part of our journey.

The room was perfect! It had a garden view where you can go out and walk to the farm nextdoor with the animals :)
Annnd the spa bath was just perfect!
The only thing would be the staff members, some were really nice and sweet and some were just plain rude not even saying good afternoon back to you :|
