Staff on check-in were great.
There is no clear signage where to check in. We wandered around a very full restaurant to find out it was at the bar in the back. Quite a poor first impression. Man was friendly though. Instructions all in Dutch (2 pages!!!!) and no English translation. Clearly lots to do The place is TINY, very very tiny. I was not expecting that at all. They also note Linen is included but then say towels and sheets are an extra fee, but nowhere does it say how much. I was billed €50 for 4 sets. Ludicrously expensive, very bad quality, and the stuff was crumpled into a plastic bag; not sure if it was washed or ironed. They then wanted to charge me €25 to clean the places. All round I feel completely ripped off and the initial cost was 155 (cheap), which is why we chose it but with cleaning and sheets it would cost us €230 which puts it into another price bracket completely. The rooms in their advert look nothing like the room we had, and frankly for anyone over 5 feet tall, the place is too small. The toilet and shower are smaller than most people's cupboards. The accommodation was certainly not worth €230.00. Had I known, this would certainly have chosen somewhere else.

The huts are cosy, clean and in a very nice location. Even though they don't seem to have a reception, people working at the restaurant were very kind.
We chose this location because it allowed dogs, they should however let you know that the cost for the dog is EUR 25, thia caught us off guard. The day we arrived they only had a buffet and it was EUR 37 per person, not including drinks. So we had to go somewhere else, which was 25 minutes away walking.

A litle bit cold in the cottage beedroom because of the ventilation in the wall. And the wifi don't really reach out. The shower is spreading water al over the place but not on the head/body.

Nice location, quiet. Good heating.
We were informed at arrival to pay 25€ cleaning because we had a dog with us. That could have been said before (and eventually we would not have booked the place).

Lovely quiet location by the lake. Bonus paddle board hire. The restaurant staff were helpful and accommodating.
It was smaller than expected though bigger than glancing pods we’ve stayed in the uk. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The location is nice, but it's a bit like camping. The cottages are really not prepared for 35°C + heat (but I guess they're not supposed to), which in combination with mosquitos made it for a less comfortable stay

Nature, close proximity to to town. It had all essensials like cutlery, kettle, pans/pots, microwave, fridge....
The house's bedroom has way too low ceiling. The shower is quite small and very unconfortable to shower.

Nice to be close to the lake and the wonderful city of Groningen. The intimity of the chalet.

It’s one of the more affordable accommodations nearby Groningen. We read others’ reviews about bringing your own bedsheets, pillow and blanket covers and glad we did.
There are no real windows in the chalet, at night it got super warm and stuffy so we had to leave the main door open. Good thing it was raining outside else it would’ve been a buffet for the mosquitoes.
