Its one of the more affordable accommodations nearby Groningen. We read others reviews about bringing your own bedsheets, pillow and blanket covers and glad we did.
There are no real windows in the chalet, at night it got super warm and stuffy so we had to leave the main door open. Good thing it was raining outside else it wouldve been a buffet for the mosquitoes.

Staff were very friendly Breakfast excellent and value for money
I knew the hut was going to be basic but it was very basic /shabby/not inviting. Needs freshening up I ended up paying 25 euros more because we took our dog this wasnt made clear When you picture a Scandinavian village and turn up there you will be disappointed!

Very nice surrounding, the oportunity make a trips around. Very nice restaurant in the camp. There is a designated area for bbq in the centre of camp.
The gas stove inside the cottage needs revision and maintenance. The dust could also be cleaned under beds.

Great restaurant, tasty selection. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff
Really badly positioned beds in the tiny space where even small people feel claustrophobic, plus a bad mattress. The small houses and bedrooms are more of a boy scout lodging than a hotel.

Very low door between kitchen/living room and bedroom - I think approximately 150cms. Just go to sleep and back. Like in the schip :)

It is a campsite with wooden houses, placed in a circle, in a large courtyard, full of greenery. The place is very beautiful. You can appreciate the location only if you are the type of camper. Small bathroom, hot water all the time, equipped kitchen.
The sleeping space is quite small, for those who suffer from claustrophobia I do not recommend it.

If someone appreciates the climate more than all inclusive, this is a great place to relax. Beautiful surroundings, peace, cozy cottage - all this makes the stay here really wonderful.
I suggest you think about where you can throw garbage - so that it is close to the houses.

Nice, quiet location , not too far from the city center.
I can't decide if the toilet is in the bathroom or the other way around. The 2 "facilities" cannot be used at the same time.

Good location, near water and close to the city.
The cabin is run down, smelly and moist. Badly cleaned, dirt and cobwebs everywhere. The rubbish from the previous guests had not been cleared away. We had to install the lightning ourselves. A hole in the linoleum had been repaired with duct tape. The beds are very short and the mattresses uncomfortable (according to the owner, the mattresses are new).

The location was fantastic, close to the lake with access to pathways. They served excellent food in the restaurant, and the staff was service minded and helpful. Beds was good. There was an interesting story behind why the Scandinavisch drop was build
I got a little surprised by the sizes of the cabin. I'm a tall guy, so the sleeping area and the toilet felt for me like visiting Bilbo Baggins' home in Hobbiton, as Gandalf.
