The food at the restaurant was EXCELLENT!
The rooms looked NOTHING like what was on the website. The bathrooms were like old dormitories and the rooms were barely big enough to accommodate the bed! The restaurant staff weren’t very attentive and many of the rooms were used for storage but the food was GREAT!!!!

Sit down breakfast is a treat! Delicious, varied & abundant spread delivered to table - perfect for starting our planned walks! Dinner also excellent- small but delicious menu. Outside dining in glass encased extension was magical, especially w light rain, heating elements & lighting. Hotel rooms are small but comfortable & clean- great bed & lovely shower for post walk relaxation. Lots of parking spaces behind hotel, do drop off your suitcase at the front to avoid long drag through gravel.
Food service is slow & confusing. Lots of enthusiastic youngsters needing a bit more coaching & guidance. Only one vegetarian dinner option. Need to repeatedly ask for things. Maybe much better in a month or so, as we stayed late March just at start of season. Hotel rooms are very dark - windows are high , light is low & colors are heavy. Yes comfortable & clean, but not a place to spend a lot of time. Sunday closure- clearly advertised so no surprise. Breakfast box huge disappointment after lovely Saturday sit down breakfast. Strict room closure (via card keys) at 10 am left us rushed & unable to use washroom facilities after lovely walk. Unnecessary irritation I do much appreciate that my (even more) extensive feedback directly to hotel was taken seriously- these people want to learn & suggest to help them make the most of a nice location!

Very close to the castle.
The rooms were under the floor, right next to the parking so you could hear all the people walking by and car driving by. Only small windows on the top of the walls. And the church just close by rings every 30 minutes loudly. So the rooms are not sound proof.

No service provide all the time, Have to wait for someone in reception for few minutes and then wait again for booking in. Extremely could inside the room! Heater put on off position for ling time, I supose as could was inside. Not perfectly clean
