Lovely Place and good location. We opted to upgrade to the 'loft' apartment which was very nice. Didn't get a chance to use many of the facilities but overall it's a nice place. The restaurant and co-work area on the top level is cool too.
Only thing that would be great to include is if there was a toaster in the kitchen!

The location
It was cold in the room and even though it was promised to me that I would get a heater, the heater never arrived. If you have a room near the elevators it is practically impossible to sleep because of the loud slamming of the glass doors at the beginning of the corridor. The sound insulation of the windows looking at the street is also poor.

I love this hotel. The reception/cafe/restaurant/work space area on the rooftop is delightful. It has nice restrooms, storage, and shower. My unit was great. I stayed in one of lofts. It is wonderful (though it can be a bit tight for two). Room had everything I needed. Minifridge is not that mini, which is great. Plenty of kitchen items. Amazing shower (one of the best water pressures in Europe). There is plenty of lighting. They have ice machines on every floor, which is rare in Europe. I even used the rings.
Guests have little control over the room temperature. You are only allowed to change the room temp by 3 degrees celsius up or down.

The room had ample space to store everything and then some. The kitchenette was really good and came in handy when making some small meals. The co-working areas were really amazing and had everything you would need to be productive, all while being in a really cool ambiance. One of the best apartment \ hotels I've stayed in and would come back again. The place was a little further out from the central part of the city, but still close enough to everything you'd want to get to.
The kitchenette could have been a bit cleaner when I checked in. A couple of pieces of tupper would have been good too. The WiFi in the room would cut out and reconnect at times which made taking a meeting a bit of a challenge. The Wifi was solid in the co-working area though, so not a big deal overall.

The design of the room has in mind practicality over all else. The use of space is extremely efficient, having a mezzanine bed to a desk under the bed, a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of storage room, a retractable clothes line in the shower... Everything you need for a stay - whether it's a few nights or more! The common area and rooftop is also very welcoming.

He property is unique. Would love to visit in the spring and use the top deck.
Just a suggestion...a box of tissues, shower wash rag, roll of paper towels, and some table place mats, and two wine glasses. Otherwise everything was EXCEPTIONAL ?

The place is very cozy , clean , everything was perfect they had a good rooftop view , the room was always clean , you don’t have to worry about a thing , the stuff is very nice and helpful!! , it’s my 5th time in Amsterdam and it’s the best hotel I have ever stayed in, wow !! I will always come back

Due to a flight cancellation, we needed to satay an additional night, and they made it all work !
Needed facial tissues and a wash cloth in the apartment, also some wine glasses would be nice...everything else was exceptional !!!

The breakfast was good, and the location was convenient.
The room was very cold. Due to the sustainability policy, I wasn’t able to increase the temperature. I could only manage by wearing thermal underwear and layering my clothes. Also, when I entered the room, there were white stains on the armchair. I was told that because I stayed for three nights, I wasn’t entitled to free housekeeping. Apparently, free housekeeping is provided only once a week for stays of seven nights or more. Overall, I found the price–performance balance very poor.

Fantastic stay with excellent facilities. The 'Loft' style rooms are very spacious and come equipped with everything you need, including a great kitchenette. The guest laundry is a huge plus, and the staff are some of the friendliest I've encountered in Amsterdam."
The only downside is the location; it’s about a 20-minute walk to the main city center, which can feel a bit far if you are planning to go back and forth throughout the day.

The rooms at Zoku are like tiny apartments - so thoughtfully laid out to maximize a small amount of space to make it feel like you could really stay for a longer period of time without too much difficulty. The miniature living room/dining room/kitchen combined with the loft bed make it a superior experience for someone who likes more of a "living in the city" than visiting the city feel. Many good touches -- automatic light turn on when you enter the room, easy off/on for all the lights direct from the bed, as well as charging outlets for phones in the wall, including shared amenities like a "borrowable" toaster or kitchenware -- make this a great option for a more hands-on traveler.
There was an odor that came from the bathroom for a few of our days in the location, but seemed to dissipate over time. European plumbing!

Great location, fun environment, clean facilities, and a friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and playful. The rooftop bar/restaurant area was lively and was a great place to hang out and work. I would stay at Zoku again and would recommend it to anyone visiting.
If I had to nitpick, the water pressure for the shower wasn't great. I rented a bike and it took 2 bikes to find one that wasn't in need of repairs. It was very handy to have bikes for rental on site though. I lost out on 4 euros when I was trying to do laundry, something was wrong with the dryer and I couldn't figure out what was wrong. None of those things were that consequential in the end, I still had a great stay.
