Great vibe, friendly staff, excellent studio with a comfortable bed and thought-through design with cute details. I liked that the studio floors are secure and only accessible with a hotel key, it felt extra safe. Black-out curtains were great. I really enjoyed my stay at Zoku.

Staff attention was good. They helped us with the problem we were experiencing, but it was not enough.
We stayed in a room with two bunk beds at the hotel. The room smells extremely oily. There was an oil smell, especially from the ventilation. It even permeated the beds and pillows.Rooms should definitely not be given until this problem is resolved. The ventilation was bad.

I've stayed at Zoku before. It has a good location and a nice vibe. Most of the staff were great.
I booked through booking.com. The advert for Zoku said "free airport taxi". Schipol airport is quite a distance away so this was an attractive offer. The hotel refused to honour the offer. The hotel also only cleans your room every 3 days. It's not a cheap hotel so this is just ridiculous. I had a horrendous nose bleed on the first night (it weirdly happens after flying) and had to change the bed and clean everything up myself. I don't revel in the thought of other people cleaning up after me but this is a 350 a night hotel. Any other hotel would have taken a "don't worry sir. We will deal with that. Are you OK?" kinda approach. In fairness they did deliver a little bottle of wine and some chocolate to the room but I still feel that most hotels would service the room daily and would deal with client issues more effectively. They have refused to address the taxi issue. They have told me to speak to booking.com. booking.com have said its an offer by the hotel and to speak with them. The final comment by the hotel was that it used to be an offer but they don't do it anymore. Really poor approach and probably unlawful to falsely advertise offers but I will put it down to experience.
