At the reception the directions to our room were poor. We ended up in the wrong building and we had to take our luggage back to the car and drive to another entrance.

It was beautiful, our room on the 11th floor faced west, and was an amazing view! A huge single window with the changing weather behind it was like a nature movie.
The breakfast, was top notch. So much room to relax and anything you desire for breakfast. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Great stay before going home from a month long trip.

The room was huge and the decor was really nice and seemed very new. The beds were comfortable. The room had a balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. There were identified running routes and trails. There was a steam sauna in both locker rooms. There was an exercise pad. There was an extremely well stocked sundry. There were coffee and cappuccino machines as well but they were by by the cup and not cheap.
There is an awesome facility across the parking lot with a nice restaurant, a casino, and some fast food options so you don't need to go into town for food. There was also a convenient store within walking distance.
There is a shuttle service that runs between the hotel and the airport twice an hour for free. The airport is also a train station which has hundreds of routes into Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. One of the best public-trans systems I have ever seen, we loved it. This hotel was the best of our trip after staying in Paris and Brussels. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.
You have to take a shuttle to the airport to take a train to Amsterdam Centraal. The airport is only 7.7 miles but the shuttle bus can take 25-30 minutes to get to the airport. That was not ideal.
There was no microwave in our room even though it was listed as an amenity.
The sundry was really well stocked but you have to pay for coffee and it wasn't cheap. Almost every hotel I have stayed in before had free coffee in the lobby. This was a super nice hotel and it seemed like a greedy money grab to make people pay for coffee. There was a coffee maker in the room but it was tiny and made espresso only. We don't drink espresso so we had to go the store to get coffee. That was really disappointing for a hotel this nice.

`The hotel should have more signs in the hallways( exit-lobby etc). My wife went for a short walk and it took her a long time to get to the room again. Easy to get lost there.

Very comfortable hotel with shuttle to and from the airport. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent.
The shuttle bus gets too full, even if space is to be booked beforehand. Additional shuttles would be welcome.

dining experience was overshadowed by the waitresses refusal to split our bill with people we were seated with, but did not know. Very difficult to split credit cards and euros between people who did not know each other very well. It is easy to split credit cards if you want to be more customer friendly. We were ready to walk out or ask to split our table away from the other tables. The front clerk made the reservation for dinner thinking he was helping to keep all of us together. That was not the case!!!

The hotel facilities were very nice, the breakfast was very good, the room and bathroom were nice and on the larger side, and it was on the larger side.
I was disappointed with the check-in process. The staff was cordial and respectful; however, when I arrived, the room was not ready, and it was almost two hours after check-in. Instead of offering an upgraded room that was ready for my inconvenience, they wanted to pay for the upgrade, as if it were my fault that the room was not ready—great property but an average experience.
