Proximity to the airport.
The on-site restaurant closed early and the kitchen ran out of a number of menu items.
The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool.

Clean, quiet, good staff. Close to Amsterdamse Bos for walking.
Room is barebones, no extras. Shuttle from airport skips the hotel on quite a few runs, and takes about 20 minutes.

We needed a room for 3 family members near the airport. This was not cheap, but did the job. The overall hotel was "professional" rather than "family". The hotel was clean, well-kept, and staff were helpful. But certainly not "romantic"! One thing: we booked a week in advance, and arrived very late at night; the hotel was pretty-much booked up, but our room was secured for us. Sigh of relief!
It could have cost a little less!

It was quirky and stylish. It’s situated near a park which we cycled to and enjoyed a dip in the lake there for free. Lovely start to the day alongside other dutch people and a fellow tourist.
The return train fare into Amsterdam Central station was pricey enough that we found we had to try to only travel in once a day and stay there. This is difficult when you might want to do some day sightseeing and late night sightseeing.

Clean spacious rooms and comfortable bar and restaurant. Good breakfast available. Breakfast was good €19.95 each continental includes tea coffee juices. The bar only open from 4pm and restaurant from 6pm for dinner but there is another bar in short walking distance 5-10 mins for food/drinks before then
No fridge in the room. No water, tea or coffee available in the room, a bottle of water from downstairs bar cost €7.

We were there in a Sunday and it was extremely busy .
Only one lady running around trying to replenish cutlery, dishes and food.
Breakfast was decent- delicious pastries
Shuttle to/ from airport was extremely packed.
Ibis Styles is the last stop so we barely squeezed in .
Consider taking a Bolt or Uber instead

Cleanliness of the room
I waited too long to get the bus to the airport but to no avail.finally I had to walk to the bus station to catch a bus to the airport.
The following day, the bus was punctual but it was overloaded and it picked customers from three different locations,

The 24-hour front desk personnel wasn’t to be. When waiting for the 6 AM shuttle bus to the airport I found a phone someone had forgotten at the entrance but didn’t see anyone to give it to. Eventually told a staff member who arrived and was tidying up the bar area.
Also, the shuttle bus to the Ibis Styles doesn’t go as frequent but does stop at the other 2 Ibis hotels which made the journey to the airport a bit longer than anticipated.
