Super location could walk to almost everything. Walkable to Vondel Park do runs and walks.
Everything was great just know the stairs are steep and narrow if that is an issue for you.

Great location to explore from! Easy to get to via tram from Centraal train station. Apartment is lovely and modern within an historic building so has lots of character. Hosts were lovely and responsive and very accommodating to change check-in time when our train was significantly delayed.

Perfect location for getting to main sights and museums with plenty of grocery and restaurant options near. We loved the authentic and cozy space and felt at home right away. Some of our favorite nights were spent cooking and playing games in the apartment due to its fantastic views of the canals. We really loved it here!
Part of the authentic experience is navigating the steep stairs up, but it was no issue for us and our kids. Just something to be aware of.

The apartment was perfect for us - the location is central to everything you want to visit and so easy to get to on public transport. Having your own historic warehouse penthouse in the middle of the action is just brilliant. And despite being close to busy streets, it is really peaceful - the bedroom is at the rear of the property and extremely peaceful - we slept like babies every night on the very soft, comfortable bed (which is actually two singles which can be together or apart).
The bathroom is very modern with a rain shower, and felt like a hotel bathroom. The living area was very comfortable with a basic kitchenette area (no oven) and a comfy sofa and tv with Netflix etc. Overall we loved it and highly recommend.
We loved everything, though as others have said, you should be prepared for the very steep staircase, which is traditional in these historic townhouse properties, but we enjoyed the challenge! Also be aware there are legal limitations on the cooking facilities that rental flats can have - so no oven or formal hob top. This is all normal for these properties in Amsterdam, and did not affect us at all.

The stairs are extremely steep and dangerous for anyone over sixty. On booking.com it described a breakfast and airport shuttle service. Neither were available. The stairs were not described on booking.com posting. There was no working smoke detector. WiFi was not adequate when working from home.

Great location (within walking distance of all the local sights/near public transport if unable to walk), very friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable accommodation and facilities.
Stairs are very steep and may be tricky for someone with mobility problems. Tricky to negotiate the stairs with suitcases, but the hosts were very helpful and carried our suitcases up for us
